Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve turbine efficiency by reducing the temperature at compressor inlet of gas turbine to a very low level, and at the same time, to drive the generator by reusing the LNG which was heat exchanged.
CONSTITUTION: Inhaled air of a gas turbine is pressured and cooled through filter 1, fan 2, dehumidifier-coolers 3 and 4, and intensive cooler 5, and is sent to compressor 6 connected with generator 10. Then it is preheated by regenerator 7 and burned by combustor 8 to drive turbine 9. LNG is pumped from LNG tank into the intensive cooler 5 and after heat exchanged, it is sent to antifreezing solution cooler 13 and water cooler 16 to cool both the dehumidifier-coolers 3 and 4. LNG is further sent to gas expansion device 18 via gas heater 17 and drives the generator 19 by rotating said expanding device 18.
