Abstract

PURPOSE: To form a black membrane having excellent solar energy selective absorbability by subjecting the surface of Al-material treated by an anodic oxidation to an AC electrolytic treatment with an electrolyte containing a metal salt.
CONSTITUTION: The solar energy-utilizing hot water supplyer's heat collector consists of the Al-solar energy collector plate 2 with plural parallelized tubes 1, the copper conduit 3, the tubular inlet header 4, and the outlet header 5. The surface of the Al-solar energy collector plate 2 is coated over with the black membrane 8 capable of selectively absorbing solar energy by the usual method in which aluminium or an aluminous alloy plate is treated by an anodic oxidation using DC current in a sulfuric acid aqueous solution to form porous oxide film on the surface, and then by an AC electrolytic process using a metal salt aqueous solution containing the sulfates of Cu, Fe, Co, Ni, Sn, etc. in order to fill the fine pores of the oxide film with a metal, forming the selective absorption membrane 8 for solar energy.
