Abstract
PURPOSE:To secure the steady operation with the minimum natural oscillation number of the piezoelectric element by applying the electric field to accelerate the piezoelectric element only in case the piezoelectric element starts oscillation with its minimum natural oscillation number. CONSTITUTION:In case the oscillator circuit has oscillation with the frequency equivalent to the minimum natural oscillation of piezoelectric element 8, output voltage V5 of monostable multivibrator 10 is synchronized with the fall of output voltae V1 of voltage comparator 1. And the time T2 is less than low-level time T1 of V1, and thus output voltage V4 of AND circuit 9 is identical to V1. Accordingly, multivibrator 10 does not affect the self-oscillator circuit. When element 8 has oscillation with the frequency other than the minimum natural vibration, V1 has a rise earlier than V5. However, circuit 9 does not feature the high level for V4 unless both V1 and V5 feature the high levels. Thus, the oscillation of V4 is not accelerated even though element 8 tried to start oscillation with the frequency other than the minimum natural oscillation. In this connection, the output voltage pulse duration of 10 is selected properly to attain the purpose.
