Abstract
PURPOSE:To continue to oscillate a voltage control oscillator with the same frequency as input signal break, by cutting off the control output of a control circuit by the output of the detection circuit for signal break and by driving a selection circuit so that the output of one phase comparator may be selected. CONSTITUTION:In the phase synchronizing oscillator used for communication devices, electronic apparatus, etc., phase comparator 1 receives the digital input signal and the output signal of voltage control oscillator 3 to output a signal proportional to their phase difference. Meanwhile, phase comparator 12 receives the output signal of variable delay circuit 11 and the output signal of oscillator 3 to output a signal proportional to their phase difference. By inserting circuit 14 to select one of outputs of comparators 1 and 12, at the input signal break time, the control output of control circuit 13 is cut off by the output of detection circuit 15 for signal break and circuit 14 is so driven that the output of comparator 12 may be selected. As a result, the phase synchronizing oscillator can be made into an IC easily, and oscillator 3 can be continued to oscillate with the same frequency as input signal break.
