Abstract
PURPOSE: To enhance the recovery rate of waste heat as well as prevent the corrosion of heat- transmitting tube by heating in advance the water to be supplied to heat-transmitting tube inside coal saver by a preheater to a temperature more than the dew point temperature of sulfuric acid.
CONSTITUTION: The SO2-containing gas 1 flows downwards from the upper inlet of the coal saver body 2 and then goes out of the outlet of the lower side, and on the other hand, the boiler supply water 4 sent through the boiler supply water pump 3 is heated by the preheater 5 for boiler supply water, for example, and then supplied to the lower inlet (d) for boiler supply water of the heat-transmitting tube 6, where the water is gradually heated by the gas 1 while ascending and then goes out of the upper outlet (e) for boiler supply water to enter into the steam drum 7. Thus, the surface temperature of the heat-transmitting tube 6 near the gas outlet becomes higher than the dew point temperature of sulfuric acid all the time and the corrosion of the tube can therefore be prevented because the boiler supply water 4 is heated in advance to a temperature more than the dew point temperature of sulfuric acid, and also the recovery rate of waste heat can be raised because the gas temperature at the outlet of coal saver can be lowered to 170 to 190°C.
