Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve heat-accumulation and heat conductivity as a heat-accumulating medium used in a heat-accumulating system such as solar heat using system, waste heat recovery system by a method wherein a liquid sensible heat-accumulating medium and a solid heat-accumulating medium are mixed in the form of slurry.
CONSTITUTION: Liquid sensible heat-accumulating medium like transformer oil etc. and solid sensible heat-accumulating medium like slag etc. are mixed to obtain a slurry-shaped heat-accumulating medium 1. This heat-accumulating medium 1 is stored in a high temperature heat-accumulating tank 2 and a low temperature heat-accumulating tank 3. The removing heat from the heat source 4 is brought into a heat exchanger 6, accumulated in a heat-accumulating medium 1 from the low temperature heat-accumulating tank 3, and stored in the high temperature heat- accumulating tank 2. The heat-accumulating medium 1 in the high-temperature heat-accumulating tank 2 is sent to a heat exchanger 7 to supply the accumulated heat to a source 5 to be heated.
