Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a stable heat recovery for a long period of time by a method wherein a coke-furnace gas is collected in a gas collector pipe, guided to a cooler of jet flow layer, and heat exchanged, thereafter it is guided to the wet wall cooler and heat exchanged therein.
CONSTITUTION: Coke-furnace gas produced from the coke-furnace 1 is collected to the cooler 13 of jet flow-layer and heat exchanged therein, thereafter guided to the wet wall cooler 14 and also heat exchanged therein. Thus, it is possible to perform a heat recovery operation in two steps with two kinds of heat exchangers capable of preventing a coking, so that a stable heat recovery can be carried out for a long period of time.
