Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain a high heat collecting efficiency at all times by a method wherein a transparent plate extended over the surface of a heating casing can be flushed for cleaning.
CONSTITUTION: Water is supplied from a water works plug 51 to a hot water tank 2 through a piping 5 and a lower part 22b of a ball tap 22. Until a water level within the hot water tank 2 reaches a certain level, water flows to a water supplying tube 3 by means of an upper part 22a and with this, water is jetted through a nozzle 16a of a water tube 16 upon a transparent plate 15. With this jet, dusts accumulated upon the transparent plate 15 are flushed away. Next thereto, when the water level in the hot water tank 2 reaches a certain level, the flowing-in of the water works water is stopped and at the same time, the jet from the nozzles 16a is also stopped.
