Abstract

PURPOSE: To adapt a drier with a closed circuit of gas supply and exhaust for the heat recovery of exhaust gas and the prevention of air-pollution caused by the hot and wet exhaust gas by exchanging heat in an economizer and dehumidifying in a cooler.
CONSTITUTION: Hot and wet exhaust gas from a drier 1 is introduced into an economizer 3 through an exhaust pipe 2 for exchanging heat with the gas to be sent to the drier. The gas lowered in the temperature is cooled in a cooling type dehumidifying device 5, and the moisture is condensed into water for draining. When impurities are contained in the exhaust gas, a sprinkler tower 5a is preferably provided for preliminary dehumidification, removing sunken impurities. The dehumidified gas is sent into the economizer 3 by a fan 4 to be heated, and further heated by a heater 6 to be sent to the drier 1.
