Abstract

PURPOSE: To plan the effective utilization of heat and to enable the retrenchment of the plant with the omission of steam bleeding from the turbine, by using the amount of steam bleeding from the turbine, by using the amount of exploited heat at the cooling and dehumidifying of the discharged compressed air of high temperature at the blast side of the blast furnace for heating the feed water of low pressure of the turbine condensate.
CONSTITUTION: The blower 1 driven with the turbine 2 sucks the outside air through the air filter 10 and the compressed heated blast enters into the primary side 11' of the air-air heat exchanger 11 and, after that, enters into heater 7' for the feed water of low pressure. On the other hand, the steam heated with the boiler 3 drives the turbine 2, the discharged steam is condensed at the condenser 4 and the condensate is sent to the heater 7' for the feed water of low pressure passing through the ejector 5 and the gland-exhauster condenser 6. The heated compressed air fed at this heater 7' performs the heat exchange and the condensate deprives the fed air of heat, is heated to the higher temperature and is sent to the degassifier 9. On the other hand, the air which has been deprived of heat at the heater 7', has become low temperature, has been dehumidified and dried, is further cooled and dehumidified at the heat exchanger 12, is sent to the secondary side 11" of the air-air heat exchanger 11, is heated to higher temperature by recovering the heat from the compressed heated air, is heated further to higher temperature at the hot stove 14 and is sent to the blast furnace 15.
