Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the vehicle driving performance and the fuel consumption rate in light loading by controlling the ignition timing more to the advance side than in non-detection time, in detecting a light load. CONSTITUTION:In the idling state after engine starting, as a throttle valve 12 is in closed state, air pressure is introduced to the load controller 16 of a distributor 14, and the advance of ignition timing is not performed. When the throttle valve 12 is opened in light loading or medium loading an negative intake pressure is introduced into the pressure receiving chamber 16b of the negative pressure controller 16 according to the operation state of a negative pressure selector valve 18, and ignition timing is advanced.
