Abstract
PURPOSE:Al powder-containing, heat resistant coating material is coated on not- to-be plated surface of steel plate, then ordinary galvanizing is performed, thereby to simply, economically provide one side galvanized steel plate utilizing existing equipment. CONSTITUTION:A steel plate A advancing toward the non-oxidizing furnace 1 is coated with on its one side with heat resistant coating material containing 25 to 50% Al powder to a thickness of 20 to 30mu by means of the roll coater 8. The steel plate is thus provided on its one complete side with heat resistant coating which functions as non plating agent. The steel plate is passed through the non-oxidizing furnace 1, heating zone 2, cooling zone 3 into the plating bath 4, where the plate A is one side galvanized, the surplus Zn is wiped off by the wiping nozzle 16 to a desired plating thickness. The galvanized steel advances through the cooler 7, the abraser 14 where the coating material is removed, then cleaned with water by the washer 15, and finally wound.
