Abstract

PURPOSE:In a method of mixed combustion of heterogeneous trash and a homogeneous fuel, to utilize effectively the energy contained in the trash bydetecting the state in a furnace by a detector and controlling the trash, fuel, and air flow. CONSTITUTION:An incinerator 2 is fed with crushed trash from a feed conveyor 11 and with a fuel (coal, heavy oil, etc.) from a fuel feed pump 12. The trash and fuel are subjected to mixed combustion while traveled on a combustion zone 3. The temperature and pressure inside the incinerator 2 are detected by a temperature detector 13 and a pressure detector 14 and fed to a computor. Temperature deviation and pressure deviation are calculated by the comparison of the measurements with an upper limit temperature, upper limit pressure, temperature set point, and pressure set point. The trash amount, fuel amount, forced draft, and induced draft are calculated on the basis of the deviations. The revolutions of motors corresponding to the calculation results are calculated and controlled so as to keep constant the temperature and pressure inside the incinerator 2.
