PURPOSE: To increase pressure-lowering amount in the one-time operation of rolling mill for disc-shaped parts by providing movably a housing supporting rotatably the roll axle of molding roll with molding roll in order to burden part of rolling load to the back-up roll in the housing.
CONSTITUTION: The material 2 to be rolled, which has a disc shape and is fastened between the main axles in such a way that its axial core is in the vertical direction, is rotated, and the web portion is rolled while lowering pressure vertically by the molding rolls 1 and 1 and while sending forwardly the molding roll 1 and 1 from the central position to the outside diameter direction. In this case, great numbers of back-up rolls 6 housed in the housings 3 and 3 movable with the rolls 1 and 1 push down the molding rolls 1 and 1 to prevent loosing, so that the pressure-lowering amount in one-time rolling operation can be much more increased than the conventional methods. The roll bearing of the back-up rolls 6 is cooled with water and also the outer periphery of the molding roll 1 is cleansed by the scraper 9 to prevent the roll 6 from breakdown.
