Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.廃水試料が予め設定された希釈度で生化学的に中性な希釈水と混合され、酸 素濃度が生化学溶液中で測定され、この酸素濃度は所定のバイオマスと希釈され た廃水試料との生化学反応に基づいて生化学溶液中で生じる、廃水の生物学的酸 素要求量(BSB)を算出する方法において、断続操作中に予め設定された量の 廃水試料が酸素で飽和された希釈水で満たされた生化学溶液に供給されて混合さ れること、単位時間当たりに生じる酸素消費量が測定されること、及び、生化学 溶液が希釈水で洗い流されることを特徴とする方法。 2.各方法のサイクル中に一定量の廃水試料を追加することによって、生化学溶 液中の希釈度が一定に調節されること、及び、生物学的酸素供給量が単位時間当 たりに生じる酸素消費量から算出されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法 。 3.各測定サイクル中に供給された廃水試料の量は、単位時間当たりの酸素消費 量が予め設定された量に調節されるように定量されること、及び、生物学的酸素 供給量がそれぞれ選択される希釈度から算出されることを特徴とする請求項1に 記載の方法。 4.生化学溶液を収容する反応容器、廃水試料用の定量装置、希釈水用の給水装 置、生化学溶液中の酸素濃度を算出する装置、及び生化学溶液用の循環装置を有 する請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の方法を実施する装置において、反応容 器(1)は閉ざされた容器であり、希釈水用の給水管(10)がその容器内に通 じていること、酸素濃度を算出する装置はその反応容器(1)内に配置された1 本の酸素プローブ(8)を備えていること、及び上記反応容器(1)は、廃水試 料用の引込口として且つ生化学溶液(2)を洗い流す際の排出口としてはたらく 1つの開口部(12)を通じて検査すべき廃水とつながっていることを特徴とす る装置。 5.反応容器(1)は検査すべき廃水中に沈めることのできるプローブヘッドを 形成することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の装置。 6.廃水試料用の定量装置は反応容器(1)に連結している容積式設計の吸引ポ ンプ(13)であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の装置。 7.吸引ポンプ(13)は吸引ピストン(14)又は容積式ピストンを有し、こ のピストンのシリンダ(15)は反応容器(1)に通じていることを特徴とする 請求項6に記載の装置。 8.生化学溶液(2)用の循環装置は反応容器(1)中へ突出する攪拌器(6) であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の装置。 9.酸素プローブ(18)、吸引ポンプ(13)及び攪拌器(6)はプローブソ ケット(4)内で一体化され、プローブヘッドとして作られた反応容器(1)が これらと気密に連結されていることを特徴とする請求項4,5,6及び8に記載 の装置。
