Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 衝撃誘発性破断に対する耐性が増強された光透過性積層パネルであって、 順次、 (a) ガラス層と、 (b) 可塑化ポリビニルブチラールマトリックスを含む光学的に透明な層であ って、該マトリックスが、前記パネルの耐衝撃性を強化し且つ視覚的に該マトリ ックスのポリビニルブチラールと見分けがつかない、マトリックス全体に無作為 に一体分散された架橋ポリビニルブチラール離散粒子を含む前記層と、 (c) 別のガラス層と を含み、 前記積層パネルが、特定の打撃接着力において、層(a)、(b)及び(c) を含むが層(b)に架橋ポリビニルブチラール耐衝撃性強化粒子が存在しない積 層パネルより高い平均破断高を有することを特徴とするパネル。 2. 架橋ポリビニルブチラール粒子がマトリックス及び架橋粒子の重量の40 重量%までの量で存在することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のパネル。 3. 粒子のサイズが1〜100ミクロンであることを特徴とする、請求項1に 記載のパネル。 4. 粒子のポリビニルブチラール架橋度が、そのような粒子を形成するポリビ ニルアルコールとブチルアルデヒドの反応中に存在する架橋剤の濃度により規定 され、該濃度が、ポリビニルアルコール100部当たり約0.10〜0.50部 の架橋剤であることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載のパネル。 5. 架橋ポリビニルブチラール粒子が、マトリックスの3倍以上の溶融剪断粘 度(20 sec.-1)を有することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のパネル。 6. 架橋剤がグルタルアルデヒドであることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の パネル。 7. 積層パネルを形成する前に、衝撃改善量の弾性架橋ポリビニルブチラール 粒子を中間シート中に組み込むことを含む、可塑化ポリビニルブチラール中間シ ートと該シートに接着されたガラスシートとからなる光透過性積層パネルの衝撃 誘発性破断に対する耐性を改良する方法。 8. 架橋粒子の屈折率が、中間シートのポリビニルブチラールの屈折率と実質 的にマッチしていることを特徴とす る、請求項7に記載の方法。 9. 架橋粒子の量が、ポリビニルブチラール及び架橋粒子の重量の40重量% までであることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の方法。 10. 粒子が、ポリビニルブチラールの3倍以上の溶融剪断粘度(20sec .-1)を有することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の方法。 11. 架橋剤がグルタルアルデヒドであることを特徴とする、請求項10に記 載の方法。
