Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.Ti、Al、Zr、Hf、V、Nb、Ta、Cr、Mo、W、Si及びB 元素の炭化物、窒化物、酸化物及び硼化物または組合せ物またはそれらの固溶体 からなる1層または複数層の耐摩耗性CVD層を含んでなり、1〜20μmの被 膜の厚みを備えるチタニウム基炭窒化物の切削工具インサートであって、 前記被膜は冷却割れがなく、且つ同一結晶組織と前記被膜が>1μmの厚さと を有する1層または複数層の前記CVD層が室温で0〜1000Mpaの圧縮残 留応力を有すること、 を特徴とするチタニウム基炭窒化物の切削工具インサート。 2.前記圧縮残留応力が100〜800Mpaであることを特徴とする請求項 1記載の切削工具インサート。 3.前記圧縮残留応力が200〜500Mpaであることを特徴とする請求項 1または2記載の切削工具インサート。 4.前記被膜の内側部分の組織が、TiCOまたはTiCONの0.2〜2μ mの薄い層からなるNi拡散バリヤーを含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のい ずれか1項に記載の切削工具インサート。 5.バインダー層が実質的にNiを含まないことを特徴とする請求項1〜4の いずれか1項に記載の切削工具インサート。 6.C及びNの原子分率が、0<N/(N+C)<0.6、好ましくは0.1 <N/(N+C)<0.6の関係を満足し、且つ前記原子分率が0<W/(Ti +W)<0.4の関係を満足すること特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に 記載の切削工具インサート。 7.チタニウム基炭窒化物がC、N、Ti、W及びCoからなり 、該元素の原子分率が0.25<N/(C+N)<0.5、0.05<W/(W +Ti)<0.11及び0.09<Co<0.14の関係を満足すること特徴と する請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の切削工具インサート。 8.TiがTa、Nb、V、Zr、Hf及び/またはMoによって部分的に置 き換えられ、ここの量が<5at%且つ合計量が<15at%であること特徴と する請求項5に記載の切削工具インサート。
