- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ナトリウム含有イオウ化合物の原料から、炭酸水素ナトリウム及び硫酸ア ンモニウムを選択的に沈殿する方法で、下記の工程を含む方法: (a)ナトリウム含有イオウ化合物の原料を提供する工程; (b)前記ナトリウム含有イオウ化合物を、二酸化炭素ガス及びアンモニア含 有化合物と接触し、溶液を生成する工程; (c)前記溶液を、炭酸水素ナトリウムの単一の沈殿を形成するのに十分な温 度で維持し、競合するナトリウム沈殿物の沈殿を伴うことなく、水中のナトリウ ムイオン量を減少する工程; (d)前記炭酸水素ナトリウム沈殿物を、この溶液から除去する工程; (e)硫酸ナトリウムを除去する工程;及び (f)硫酸アンモニウムを沈殿する工程。 2.前記方法が、59℃未満の温度で行われることを特徴とする、請求項1の方 法。 3.前記方法が更に、工程(e)の前に、ナトリウムイオン濃度を減少する工 程を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1の方法。 4.前記ナトリウムイオン濃度が、イオン交換を用いて低下されることを特徴 とする、請求項3の方法。 5.前記ナトリウムイオン濃度が、冷却法を用いて低下されることを特徴とす る、請求項1の方法。 6.前記冷却法が、硫酸ナトリウム水和物、硫酸ナトリウム、炭酸水素アンモ ニウム、及び炭酸水素ナトリウムの少なくとも1種を沈殿することを特徴とする 、請求項5の方法。 7.前記ナトリウムイオンが、過剰量のアンモニア及び冷却法を 用いて低下されることを特徴とする、請求項1の方法。 8.前記ナトリウムイオン濃度が、イオン交換及び冷却法の組み合わせを用い て低下されることを特徴とする、請求項1の方法。 9.前記ナトリウム濃度が、アンモニアの重量%を増加し、かつこの溶液中に おいて、硫酸ナトリウム、並びに硫酸ナトリウム及び硫酸アンモニウムの混合沈 殿を生成することによって低下されることを特徴とする、請求項1の方法。 10.更にアンモニア及び二酸化炭素を回収する工程を含む、請求項1の方法。 11.前記方法が、更に、蒸発前に、炭酸水素ナトリウムの沈殿から、残留して いる二酸化炭素及びアンモニアを反応器に再循環することを含むことを特徴とす る、請求項1の方法。 12.前記二酸化炭素が、pHの変更によって除去されることを特徴とする、請求 項1の方法。 13.前記二酸化炭素が、加熱によって除去されることを特徴とする、請求項1 の方法。 14.二酸化炭素及びアンモニアの少なくとも一部を、液化された状態で該反応 器に供給することを特徴とする、請求項1の方法。 15.二酸化炭素及びアンモニアの少なくとも一部を、気体状で該反応器に供給 することを特徴とする、請求項1の方法。 16.前記反応器の内容物のpHを、約7〜約9に維持することを特徴とする、請 求項1の方法。 17.下記の工程を含むことを特徴とする、炭酸水素ナトリウム及び炭酸ナトリ ウムの製造法: 反応器内で、水溶液中の硫酸ナトリウムを、アンモニア及び二酸化炭素と反応 させ、炭酸水素ナトリウムを沈殿させ、かつ第一母液を生成する工程; この炭酸水素ナトリウムを分離し、かつこれを乾燥し、炭酸水素ナトリウム生 成物を生成するか、もしくはこれを焼成し、炭酸ナトリウムに転化する工程; 炭酸水素ナトリウム沈殿を除いた第一母液を、蒸発させ、未反応の硫酸ナトリ ウムを沈殿し、第二母液を生成する工程; この未反応の硫酸ナトリウム沈殿を除去した第二母液を冷却し、硫酸ナトリウ ム/硫酸アンモニウム及び水の復塩を沈殿し、第三母液を生成する工程; この複塩の沈殿を除いた第三母液を、蒸発し、約73重量%以上の純度の、実質 的に純粋な硫酸アンモニウムを沈殿し、第四母液を生成する工程; この複塩を、蒸発の前の炭酸水素ナトリウム沈殿を除いた第一母液に添加する 工程;及び この第四母液を、蒸発させて、未反応の硫酸ナトリウムを沈殿させた第二母液 に添加する工程。 18.前記方法が、低くとも59℃の温度で実行されることを特徴とする、請求項 17の方法。 19.更にアンモニア及び二酸化炭素を回収する工程を含む、請求項17の方法。 20.更に蒸発以前の炭酸水素ナトリウムの沈殿を除いた母液からの二酸化炭素 及びアンモニアを該反応器に再循環することを含む、請求項17の方法。 21.前記二酸化炭素が、pHの変更により除去される、請求項19の方法。 22.前記二酸化炭素が、加熱により除去される、請求項17の方法。 23.前記二酸化炭素及びアンモニアの少なくとも一部が、液化さ れて前記反応器に供給されることを特徴とする、請求項17の方法。 24.前記二酸化炭素及びアンモニアの少なくとも一部が、気体状で前記反応器 に供給されることを特徴とする、請求項17の方法。 25.前記反応器の内容物が、pH約7〜約9を維持することを特徴とする、請求 項17の方法。
