体ポリマ−スポンジチュ−ブを提供する。 【解決手段】生体ポリマ−スポンジチュ−ブは、生体ポ
リマ−の水性分散液を形成し、その分散液をチュ−ブ形
状金型に注入し、その金型の分散液を凍結して造形され
た水性分散体を形成し、続いて凍結水性分散体を凍結乾
燥させることによって作製される。このチュ−ブは内視
鏡の外科用ステ−プラ−に嵌合され、特に肺切除での気
密密閉用にステ−プル留めされた組織を良好に密閉す
る。

【従来の技術および発明が解決しようとする課題】外科
用ステープルガンは、止血と、外科手術手技（手順）に
続いて行われる組織の密閉、例えば肺気腫の患者の肺の
体積減少に続く組織の密閉に広く使われる。直線形の外
科用ステープラーは、寸法が異なる２個の別個のバレ
ル、すなわち、ステープル留め（ステープリング）時に
合わさるステープルカートリッジとアンビルを有するの
が普通である。これらの器具は、外科医がステープルラ
インを補強し、漏れを防ぐために使う、牛の心膜のよう
な支持材料と共に使用するために必要である。現在の外

速で使用して均質化する。そのスラリーを真空オーブン
で１０分間、脱ガスし、次に、適切な金型内に注入す
る。次に、手順１に記載したように、スラリーが入った
金型を処理する。

リマースポンジチューブ８を作製する。

の外科用ステープラーへの使用（用途） 図４は、肺の体積減少外科手術で使用するための外科用
ステープルガン概略図を示す図である。ステープルガン
にはステープラーカートリッジバレル２１とアンビルバ
レル２２が備えてある。使用時には、図５に示したよう
に一端が閉じた生体ポリマースポンジチューブ２３，２
４をカートリッジバレル２１とアンビルバレル２２の各
々の端部にすべり込ませる。

のバレル２１，２２を密閉（シール）を要する組織の両
側に配置する。ステープル留め動作により２個のバレル
が合わさり、一方、ステープル留め手順時に平らになる
上記チューブが適切な部位でステープル留めされる。次
に、平らになった生体ポリマースポンジチューブはシー
ルとして作用して滲出物／空気漏れを防止し、その部位
でで止血が適切に助長される。
３，２４を所定位置に備えたステープルガン２０の２個
のバレル２１，２２を密閉（シール）を要する組織の両
側に配置する。ステープル留め動作により２個のバレル
が合わさり、一方、ステープル留め手順時に平らになる
上記チューブが適切な部位でステープル留めされる。次
に、平らになった生体ポリマースポンジチューブはシー
ルとして作用して滲出物／空気漏れを防止し、その部位
でで止血が適切に助長される。
【００３５】なお本発明の好適な実施態様として以下の
ものがある。 （１）前記生体ポリマーは、構造蛋白、酸化再生セルロ
ースを含有するセルロース誘導体、澱粉誘導体、キチ
ン、キトサン、アルギン酸塩、グリコサミミノグリカン
およびそれらの混合物から成る群から選択される請求項
１、請求項２あるいは請求項３に記載の生体ポリマース
ポンジチューブ、外科用ステープラーあるいは使用。 （２）前記生体ポリマーは、ゼラチン、全コラーゲン
種、ケラチン、ラミニン、フィブリンおよびフィブロネ
クチンから成る群から選択される実施態様（１）に記載
の生体ポリマースポンジチューブ、外科用ステープラー
あるいは使用。 （３）前記生体ポリマーは、本質的にコラーゲンから成
る実施態様（２）に記載の生体ポリマースポンジチュー
ブ、外科用ステープラーあるいは使用。 （４）防腐剤、抗生物質、鎮痛薬、ステロイド、細胞成
長因子、傷治癒因子から成る群から選択される治療化合
物をさらに含有する請求項１〜請求項３、実施態様
（１）〜実施態様（３）のいずれか１項に記載の生体ポ
リマースポンジチューブ、外科用ステープラーあるいは
使用。 （５）哺乳類の体に完全に生体吸収可能である請求項１
〜請求項３、実施態様（１）〜実施態様（４）のいずれ
か１項に記載の生体ポリマースポンジチューブ、外科用
ステープラーあるいは使用。
