Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.乾燥されているが未焼成のゾルゲルアルミナを含み、且つ少なくとも5重 量%の揮発分を有する組成物を爆発的に粉砕する方法であって、その組成物の粒 子を約400 ℃〜1600℃の温度に維持された炉の中に直接供給し、炉の中での滞留 時間を調節し、爆発的に粉砕されたアルミナ粒子を生成させる爆発的粉砕方法。 2.炉がチューブ式ロータリー炉である請求項1に記載の方法。 3.炉の中の最高温度ゾーン(高温ゾーン)での滞留時間が約1秒間〜約30分 間である請求項1に記載の方法。 4.チューブが水平に対して1〜約60°の角度で傾斜した請求項2に記載の方 法。 5.チューブが約0.5 〜約40 rpmで回転する請求項4に記載の方法。 6.炉の中に供給される乾燥ゾルゲルアルミナ含有組成物が、約5〜約60重量 %の揮発性物質を含む請求項1に記載の方法。 7.乾燥ゾルゲルアルミナ含有組成物が、炉の高温ゾーンの付近に直接供給さ れる請求項1に記載の方法。 8.炉の中での温度と滞留時間が、α層を形成させ、且つ理論密度の少なくと も95%まで焼結させるのに十分である請求項1に記載の方法。 9.炉が、アルミナを焼結させるのに必要な温度より低く維持され、爆発的に 粉砕された物質が、その後で実質的に理論密度まで焼結される請求項1に記載の 方法。 10.爆発的に粉砕される物質が、焼結される前に、粒子サイズをさらに調節す る粉砕工程に供される請求項9に記載の方法。 11.爆発的に粉砕される物質が、焼結工程に供される前に、希土 類金属、遷移金属、ルビジウム、セシウム、及びイットリウムからなる群より選 択された金属の可溶性塩の溶液で処理される請求項9に記載の方法。 12.乾燥されているが未焼成の種添加されたゾルゲルアルミナを含み、且つ約 20〜約40重量%の揮発性物質を含む組成物を爆発的に粉砕する方法であって、そ の組成物を約600 ℃〜約1500℃の温度に維持された高温ゾーンを有するチューブ 式ロータリー炉の中に供給し、そのチューブが、水平に対して約2°〜約20°の 角度で傾斜し、約2〜約20 rpmで回転する爆発的粉砕方法。 13.炉の中での温度と滞留時間が、α層を形成させ、且つ理論密度の少なくと も95%まで焼結させるのに十分である請求項12に記載の方法。 14.炉が、アルミナを焼結させるのに必要な温度より低く維持され、爆発的に 粉砕された物質が、その後で実質的に理論密度まで焼結される請求項12に記載の 方法。 15.爆発的に粉砕される物質が、焼結される前に、粒子サイズをさらに調節す る粉砕工程に供される請求項14に記載の方法。 16.爆発的に粉砕された物質が、焼結工程に供される前に、希土類金属、遷移 金属、ルビジウム、セシウム、及びイットリウムからなる群より選択された金属 の可溶性塩の溶液で処理される請求項14に記載の方法。 17.乾燥されているが未焼成の、約20〜約40重量%の揮発性物質を含む種添加 されていないゾルゲルアルミナを爆発的に粉砕する方法であって、その乾燥ゾル ゲルを約600 ℃〜約1650℃の温度に維持された高温ゾーンを有するチューブ式ロ ータリー炉の中に供給し、そのチューブが、水平に対して約3°〜約20°の角度 で傾斜し、約1〜約20 rpmで回転する爆発的粉砕方法。 18.炉の中での温度と滞留時間が、α層を形成させ、且つ理論密度の少なくと も95%まで焼結させるのに十分である請求項17に記載の方法。 19.炉が、アルミナを焼結させるのに必要な温度より低く維持され、爆発的に 粉砕された物質が、その後で実質的に理論密度まで焼結される請求項17に記載の 方法。 20.爆発的に粉砕された物質が、焼結される前に、粒子サイズをさらに調節す る粉砕工程に供される請求項19に記載の方法。 21.爆発的に粉砕された物質が、焼結工程に供される前に、希土類金属、遷移 金属、ルビジウム、セシウム、及びイットリウムからなる群より選択された金属 の可溶性塩の溶液で処理される請求項19に記載の方法。 22.請求項1に記載の方法によって爆発的に粉砕された砥粒を含む結合砥粒製 品。 23.請求項12に記載の方法によって爆発的に粉砕された砥粒を含む結合砥粒製 品。 24.請求項17に記載の方法によって爆発的に粉砕された砥粒を含む結合砥粒製 品。 25.請求項1に記載の方法によって爆発的に粉砕された砥粒を含む研磨布紙。 26.請求項12に記載の方法によって爆発的に粉砕された砥粒を含む研磨布紙。 27.請求項17に記載の方法によって爆発的に粉砕された砥粒を含む研磨布紙。 28.長手寸法のまわりで非対称であり、製造後のその任意のグリットサイズ画 分の中で、少なくとも2:1のアスペクト比を有するグリットを25%より多く含 み、且つ理論密度の少なくとも95%の密 度を有するアルミナ砥粒。 29.2:1を上回るアスペクト比を有するグリットの割合が30%を超える請求 項28に記載のアルミナ砥粒。 30.0.01〜10μmのサイズを有する焼結アルミナ結晶を含んでなる請求項28に 記載のアルミナ砥粒。 31.アルミナ結晶子がサブミクロンの大きさである請求項30に記載のアルミナ 砥粒。 32.マグネシウム、ジルコニウム、希土類金属、遷移金属、ルビジウム、セシ ウム、及びイットリウムの酸化物からなる群より選択された1種以上の酸化物を 10%以下混和することによって改質された焼結アルミナを含んでなる請求項28に 記載のアルミナ砥粒。
