Abstract
Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ハウジング内に収納された電気化学バッテリーを備え、前記電気化学バッテ リーは一つ又は複数の電気化学セルを有し、前記ハウジングは、ポータブル電源 装置の下部表面と係合する形状の上部表面を備える、ポータブル電子計算装置の 外部ポータブル電源であって、パームレストが前記ハウジングの第1側面に沿っ て接続され、前記パームレストは前記ポータブル電子計算装置の端に沿って前記 ハウジングから上方に延長していることを特徴とするポータブル電源。 2.前記パームレストが、前記ポータブル電子計算装置のディスクドライブにア クセスする場合に開くことができるドアを備える、請求項1に記載のポータブル 電源。 3.前記ドアが、前記ポータブル電子計算装置から下方および遠方に、前記ディ スクドライブから延長する平面下へ揺動する、請求項2に記載のポータブル電源 。 4.前記ドアが、前記ドアに面する解放端を有するU字状のヒンジによって前記 ハウジングに揺動可能に取り付けられるとともに、前記U字状ヒンジの第1アー ムに揺動可能に取り付けられ、また、前記ハウジングが前記U字状ヒンジの第2 アームに揺動可能に取り付けられている、請求項3に記載のポータブル電源。 5.前記ポータブル電子計算装置がバッテリー区画の境界を画定し、また、前記 電源が、前記電気化学バッテリーと電気的に結合するとともに、前記電子計算装 置と電気的に結合する対合装置コネクタに係合するように構成されたバッテリー コネクタを備え、前記セルは前記電子計算装置の外部かつ前記バッテリー区画の 外部に位置し、前記対合装置コネクタは前記電子計算装置のバッテリ区画内に位 置し、更に、前記電子装置の前記バッテリー区画に挿入される突出部を備え、前 記突出部は前記ハウジング上部表面に対して平行かつ間隔を開けて離れて前記パ ームレストから延びるともに、前記バッテリーコネクタをサポートすることを特 徴とする請求項1に記載のポータブル電源。 6.ハウジング内に収納された電気化学バッテリーと、前記電気化学バッテリー と電気的に結合するとともに、前記電子装置と電気的に結合する対合装置コネク タと係合するように構成されたバッテリーコネクタとを備え、前記電気化学バッ テリーは1つ又は複数の電気化学セルを有し、前記セルは前記電子装置の外部か つ前記バッテリー区画の外部に位置し、前記対合装置コネクタは前記電子装置の バッテリー区画内に位置する、電子装置の外部ポータブル電源であって、前記電 子装置の前記バッテリー区画に挿入される突出部を備え、前記突出部は前記ハウ ジングの上部表面の端部から上方に延びるとともに前記ハウジングの上部表面に 対して平行かつ間隔を開けて離れて延び、前記ハウジングの上部表面の残りの部 分が電子装置との係合のために電子装置下部表面に対応しており、前記突出部は 前記バッテリーコネクターをサポートすることを特徴とするポータブル電源。 7.前記電子装置がポータブル電子計算装置である、請求項6に記載のポータブ ル電源。 8.前記突出部の上方延長部分を前記ポータブル電子計算装置のキーボード沿い に位置させて、パームレストの少なくとも一部を形成することができる、請求項 7に記載のポータブル電源。 9.前記電気化学セルがメタル−エアバッテリーである、請求項6に記載のポー タブル電源。 10.前記電気化学セルがメタル−エアバッテリーであり、前記突出部が更に、前 記ハウジング内部の空気を前記ハウジング外部の空気と交換するための複数の空 気交換開口と、前記ハウジング内の空気の流れを方向付けるように位置する空気 移動装置を備える、請求項6に記載のポータブル電源。 11.前記電気化学セルがメタル−エアバッテリーであり、前記ハウジングが更に 、前記上部表面上に突出するエアプレナムと、前記突出エアプレナムを収容でき るように形成された前記突出部内の空洞を備え、前記エアプレナムは空気交換開 口と前記ハウジング内の空気の流れを方向付けるための空気移動装置とを備える 、請求項6に記載のポータブル電源。 12.ポータブル電子計算装置のキーボードに隣接する前記電子計算装置の端に沿 って延びる延長部材を備え、前記延長部材は前記ポータブル電子計算装置のキー ボードと実質的に同じ高さにおいて上部表面の境界を画定するパームレストであ って、前記延長部材の一部をドアとして開き、前記ポータブル電子計算装置のデ ィスクドライブにアクセスできることを特徴とするパームレスト。 13.前記ドアが、前記ポータブル電子計算装置から下方および遠方に、前記ディ スクドライブから延長する平面下へ揺動する、請求項12に記載のパームレスト。 14.ポータブル電子計算装置のラッチと係合するために外部バッテリーのハウジ ングに揺動可能に取り付けられ、第1側面とその逆の第2側面を有する延長部材 と、前記延長部材の第2側面に取り付けられたハンドルと、前記延長部材を前記 ポータブル電子計算装置の前記ラッチに向けて付勢する第1スプリングと、前記 外部バッテリーの上部表面の上部に前記延長部材を揺動的に付勢する第2スプリ ングを備えることを特徴とする、ポータブル電子計算装置の外部電源をポータブ ル電子計算装置に取り付けるための装置。 15.外部バッテリーに対応する高さを有し、ポータブル電子計算装置への装着の ために前記外部バッテリーのハウジングの後面に揺動可能に取付けられた一つ又 は複数のアッタチメントクリップを有する実質平面部材と、前記アタッチメント クリップを前記外部バッテリーの前記ハウジングの上部表面の平面下に揺動され た位置に保持するために前記実質平面部材の第1側面から内向きに間隔が開けら れて設けられるとともに、前記実質平面部材の前記第1側面が前記外部バッテリ ーの前記後面に隣接して配置された場合に前記アタッチメントクリップに対応す る1つ又は複数のくぼみと、前記ポータブル電子計算装置をポートに整列させる ための前記実質平面部材の上部表面に沿った1つ又は複数のボスとを備えること を特徴とするドッキングプラットフォーム。
