Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.図3(配列番号:9)に示すアミノ酸#8から#110までのアミノ酸配 列からなるBMP−9ポリペプチド。 2.図3(配列番号:9)に示すアミノ酸#1から#110までのアミノ酸配 列からなるBMP−9ポリペプチド。 3.各サブユニットが少なくとも図3(配列番号:9)に示すアミノ酸#8か ら#110までのアミノ酸配列からなるダイマーである請求項1のBMP−9ポ リペプチド。 4.各サブユニットが少なくとも図3(配列番号:9)に示すアミノ酸#1か ら#110までのアミノ酸配列からなるダイマーである請求項2のBMP−9ポ リペプチド。 5.下記工程 (a)図3(配列番号:8)に示すヌクレオチド#124から#453までのヌ クレオチド配列からなるcDNAで形質転換された細胞を培養し;次いで、 (b)図3(配列番号:9)に示すアミノ酸#1から#110までのアミノ酸配 列からなる蛋白を該培地から回収し精製する により製造される精製BMP−9蛋白。 6.下記工程 (a)図3(配列番号:8)に示すヌクレオチド#124から#453までのヌ クレオチド配列からなるcDNAで形質転換された細胞を培養し;次いで、 (b)図3(配列番号:9)に示すアミノ酸#8から#110までのアミノ酸配 列からなる蛋白を該培地から回収し精製する により製造される精製BMP−9蛋白。 7.軟骨および/または骨の形成を誘導する能力により特徴づけられるBMP −9蛋白。 8.BMP−9蛋白をコードしているDNA配列。 9.(a)ヌクレオチド124から453(配列番号:8);および (b)厳密なハイブリダイゼーション条件下でそれにハイブリダイゼーションし 、軟骨および/骨を形成する能力を示す配列 からなる請求項8のDNA配列。 10.(a)ヌクレオチド145から453(配列番号:8);および (b)厳密なハイブリダイゼーション条件下でそれにハイブリダイゼーションし 、軟骨および/骨を形成する能力を示す配列 からなる請求項8のDNA配列。 11.BMP−8をコードしているDNA配列で形質転換された宿主細胞。 12.下記工程 (a)BMP−9蛋白をコードしているヌクレオチド配列からなるcDNAで形 質転換された細胞を培養し;次いで (b)該BMP−9蛋白を培地から回収し精製する からなる精製BMP−9蛋白の製造方法。 13.医薬上許容される賦形剤と混合された有効量のBMP−9蛋白からなる 医薬組成物。 14.さらに、該組成物を支持し、骨および/または軟骨の増殖のための表面 を提供するためのマトリックスからなる請求項13の組成物。 15.該マトリックスがヒドロキシアパタイト、コラーゲン、ポリ乳酸および リン酸三カルシウムからなる群より選択される材料からなる請求項14の組成物 。 16.骨および/または軟骨の形成を必要とする患者における骨および/また は軟骨の形成の誘導方法であって、有効量の請求項13の組成物を該患者に投与 することからなる方法。 17.医薬上許容される賦形剤中の有効量のBMP−9蛋白からなる、傷の治 癒および組織の修復のための医薬組成物。 18.傷の治療および/または組織の修復を必要とする患者における傷の治療 および/または組織の修復方法であって、有効量の請求項17の組成物を該患者 に投与することからなる方法。 19.下記工程 (a)(i)配列番号:1のヌクレオチド#610から#1893までのヌクレ オチド配列からなるDNA、および (ii)厳密なハイブリダイゼーション条件下でそれにハイブリダイゼーシ ョンし、軟骨または骨の形成を誘導する配列 で形質転換された細胞を培養し;次いで (b)配列番号:9のアミノ酸#1から#110までからなる蛋白を該培地から 回収し精製する により製造される精製哺乳動物BMP−9蛋白。 20.医薬上許容される賦形剤中の有効量のBMP−9蛋白からなる、肝細胞 増殖のための医薬組成物。 21.肝細胞の増殖を必要とする患者における肝細胞の増殖を誘導する方法で あって、有効量の請求項20の組成物を該患者に投与することからなる方法。 22.医薬上許容される賦形剤中の有効量のBMP−9蛋白からなる、軟骨修 復のための医薬組成物。
