Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 単一片材から形成された自己膨張可能な円筒体を含むステントであっ て、前記円筒体が、当該ステントの長手方向への引き伸ばしを防止するように、 複数の閉じられた巻線と該巻線を相互連結する複数のストリップとを備えており 、当該ステントが、第1の径方向拘束状態での未膨張形状から、第2の径方向非 拘束状態での膨張形状まで、自己膨張可能となっているステント。 2. 前記複数のストリップが整合されて、長手方向に配向された脊柱を形 成する、請求項1に記載のステント。 3. 前記閉じられた巻線の少なくとも1つの形態が波形状である、請求項 1に記載のステント。 4. 前記円筒体が、単一のワイヤ片から形成されている、請求項1に記載 のステント。 5. 前記閉じられた巻線の少なくとも1つが、該巻線がそうした回りで屈 曲し得る複数のアイレットを有する、請求項4に記載のステント。 6. 前記ワイヤの一部が、前記ステントの長さ全体に亙って延在すると共 に対応する隣接巻線を一体的に相互連結しているワイヤ部と、撚り合わされてい る、請求項4に記載のステント。 7. 略直線状ワイヤ部が前記ステントの長さ全体に亙って延在しており、 前記ステントが、隣接巻線を一体的に相互連結しているワイヤ部と、前記直線状 ワイヤ部の一部とを包囲する管状形材を更に備え、前記管状形材は縮められ、そ の内部に包囲したそれらのワイヤ部を固定して、前記ステントの長手方向引き伸 ばしを防止している、請求項4に記載のステント。 8. 連続ワイヤから形成された自己膨張可能な円筒体を備えるステントで あって、前記円筒体が、複数のワイヤ部によって相互に連結された複数の継続的 な巻線から成るコイルであり、前記巻線の各々が湾曲部を有し、前記相互連結ワ イヤ部によって当該ステントの長手方向への引き伸ばしが防止されており、当該 ステントが、第1の径方向拘束状態での未膨張径から、第2の径方向非拘束状態 での膨張径まで、自己膨張可能となっているステント。 9. 任意の隣接する第1及び第2の継続的な巻線が、連結され且つ当該第 1及び第2の継続的な巻線間に介在させられたワイヤ部によって長手方向の引き 伸ばしが抑制されている、請求項8に記載のステント。 10. 前記継続的な巻線の間に介在させられたワイヤ部が、前記第1巻線の 第1端部と、前記第2巻線の末端部とに連結されると共に、前記第1巻線の第2 端部と撚り合わされている、請求項9に記載のステント。 11. 継続的な巻線の間に介在させられた前記ワイヤの撚り合わせが、前記 ステントにおける、整合されて略直線状の長手方向脊柱となっている、請求項1 0に記載のステント。 12. 前記ワイヤがニチノールから成る、請求項8に記載のステント。 13. 連続的な超弾性ニチノール・ワイヤから形成された自己膨張可能な円 筒体を備え、該円筒体が複数の継続的な正弦波形状巻線を有するコイルであり、 該コイルは長手方向への引き伸ばしが防止されていることから成る体腔内への移 植用ステントであって、該ステントが、第1の径方向拘束状態での未膨張径から 、第2の径方向非拘束状態での膨張径まで自己膨張可能であり、任意の隣接する 第1及び第2の継続的な巻線が、連結され、且つ、前記第1巻線の第1端部と前 記第2巻線の末端部とに連結されると共に、前記第1巻線の第2端部に撚り合わ せられたワイヤ部によって引き伸ばしが長手方向で抑制されており、継続的な巻 線 の間に仲介された前記ワイヤの撚り合わせが、前記ステントにおける、整合され て略直線状の長手方向脊柱となっているステント。 14. 各々が複数の湾曲部を有する複数の継続的なワイヤ巻線を具備する自 己膨張可能な円筒体を備えるステントであって、2つの継続的な巻線を相互連結 しているワイヤ部が該2つの継続的な巻線の一方の一部と撚り合わさって、長手 方向の引き伸ばしを防止しており、第1の径方向拘束状態での未膨張径から、第 2の径方向非拘束状態での膨張径まで自己膨張可能であるステント。 15. 前記2つの継続的な巻線を相互連結している前記ワイヤ部が、前記2 つの継続的な巻線における、第1巻線の第1端部と、第2巻線の末端部とに一体 的に連結されると共に、前記第1巻線の第2端に撚り合わされている、請求項1 4に記載のステント。 16. ステントを作成する方法であって、長尺状マンドレル上の複数のスパ イク上に連続ワイヤを巻回し、前記ステントの長手方向の引き伸ばしが防止され るように、複数の閉じた巻線と、前記複数の巻線を相互に連結する複数のストリ ップとを有する自己膨張可能な形状記憶コイルを形成することを含む方法。 17. 前記ワイヤにおける、任意の隣接する第1及び第2の継続的な巻線を 連結しているワイヤ部が、前記第1巻線の第1端部と前記第2巻線の末端部とに 連結されていると共に、前記第1巻線の第2端部に撚り合わされており、継続的 な巻線の間に仲介された前記ワイヤの撚り合わせが、前記ステントにおいて整合 されて略直線状の長手方向脊柱となっている、請求項16に記載の方法。 18. 前記マンドレル上の巻回されたコイルを室温を上回る高温でアニール することを更に含む、請求項16に記載の方法。 19. 前記アニール温度が約500℃である、請求項18に記載の方法。 20. 前記マンドレルが分解可能で、形成されたステントを当該マンドレル から解放させることができる、請求項16に記載の方法。 21. 前記ステントを前記マンドレルから歪ませることなく除去することを 更に含む、請求項20に記載の方法。 22. 体腔内に自己膨張可能ステントを位置決めするシステムであって、 内部に径方向拘束状態の径での自己膨張可能ステントを解放自在に保持するこ とによって、前記ステントを配置するための器具と、 前記器具によって解放自在に保持された自己膨張可能ステントであって、当該 ステントが、複数の閉じた巻線と該複数の巻線を相互連結している複数のストリ ップとを有するコイルである、連続ワイヤによって形成された自己膨張可能円筒 体を具備することによって、長手方向の引き伸ばしが防止されており、第1の径 方向拘束状態の未膨張径から、第2の径方向非拘束状態の膨張径まで自己膨張が 可能である自己膨張可能ステントと、 を備えるシステム。 23. 前記器具が、第1端及び第2端を有して前記ステントを径方向におい て拘束する長尺管状外側シースと、第1端及び第2端を有して前記シース内に移 動自在に配置された長尺状コアと、を備え、前記シースの前記第1端及び前記第 2端は、前記コアの前記第1端及び前記第2端にそれぞれ対応しており、前記コ アが、前記ステントの該コアに対しての長手方向への移動を拘束する手段を具備 し、前記コアが前記シースよりも長くなっており、前記ステントが前記シースと 前記コアとの間に画成されたスペース内に解放自在に保持されおり、前記シース を前記コアの第1端から遠ざかるように長手方向へ移動するに及んで、前記ステ ントが自己膨張して前記体腔内に配置されることによって、前記シースによる径 方向拘束を解除する、請求項22に記載のシステム。 24. 体腔内に自己膨張可能な支持体を配置する方法であって、 連続ワイヤから形成された自己膨張可能円筒体を含む自己膨張可能ステントを 形成することであり、当該ステントが、複数の閉じた巻線と、該複数の巻線を相 互連結している複数のストリップとを有するコイルであることによって、長手方 向の引き伸ばしが防止されていると共に、第1の径方向拘束状態の未膨張径から 、第2の径方向非拘束状態の膨張径まで自己膨張可能であることから成る自己膨 張可能ステントを形成することと、 前記ステントを第1の未膨張径まで径方向に拘束するための器具内に当該ステ ントを解放自在に固定することと、 前記ステントを内部に固定している前記器具を体腔内の所望箇所へ進めること と、 前記ステントに対する前記シースによる前記径方向拘束を解放することによっ て前記ステントを配置して、該ステントを第2膨張径まで自己膨張させることと 、 を含む方法。 25. 前記ステントを径方向に拘束するための前記器具が、第1端及び第2 端を有して前記ステントを径方向に拘束する長尺管状外側シースと、第1端及び 第2端を有して前記シース内に移動自在に配置された長尺状コアと、を具備し、 前記シースの前記第1端及び前記第2端が前記コアの前記第1端及び前記第2端 にそれぞれ対応しており、前記コアが前記ステントの当該コアに対しての長手方 向への移動を解放自在に拘束する手段を有しており、前記コアは前記シースより も長くなっており、前記ステントが前記シースと前記コアとの間に画成されたス ペース内に解放自在に保持されている、請求項24に記載の方法。 26. ステントを形成するための分解自在なマンドレルであって、当該マン ドレルが、複数のスパイクをその上に具備する長尺体を備え、前記複数のスパイ クがその上にワイヤが巻回されることによってステントを形成するに有効であり 、且つ、当該マンドレルがひとたび形成された前記ステントを解放すべく分解自 在であるマンドレル。 27. 前記長尺体が前記ステントを歪めることなく分解し得る、請求項26 に記載のマンドレル。 28. 前記長尺体が分解自在な複数の長手方向層から成る、請求項27に記 載のマンドレル。 29. 前記長尺体が、各々が略円状弓形の横断面を有する2つの外側層の間 に介在させられた、略矩形の横断面を有する中間層を備える、請求項28に記載 のマンドレル。 30. 前記長尺体が略円形横断面を有し、前記中間層が、前記マンドレルか ら除去することができて、前記外部層を一体化して前記マンドレルよりも小さな 横断面となることによって、前記ステントを前記外部層から解放させる、請求項 29に記載のマンドレル。 31. 前記複数のスパイクが前記長尺体に対して移動自在に固定される、請 求項26に記載のマンドレル。 32. 前記複数のスパイクが前記長尺体から除去可能である、請求項31の マンドレル。 33. 前記長尺体が円筒状外側表面を有し、前記複数のスパイクが前記外側 表面近辺に付勢され得て、前記ステントを解放する、請求項31に記載のマンド レル。
