Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 多孔質ウェブに熱硬化性樹脂を含浸させる方法であって、未硬化の液状熱 硬化性樹脂を回転ローラー上に配置し、多孔質ウェブを前記ローラーと向流で接 触するように移動させて前記樹脂の大半を吸収させ、樹脂含有ウェブを加熱ゾー ンに送って樹脂を部分的に硬化させることからなり、回転ローラー上に残留して いる樹脂を、前記ローラーの360°回転によって前記残留樹脂が移動する前に 除去し、該残留樹脂を、ウェブと回転ローラーとの最初の接触の前に、多孔質ウ ェブ上に配置する、前記多孔質ウェブに熱硬化性樹脂を含浸させる方法。 2. 回転ローラー上での多孔質ウェブの接触角を45〜180°にする請求項 1に記載の方法。 3. 前記多孔質ウェブがガラス繊維からなる請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 4. 多孔質ウェブを、0.127m/秒(25ft/分)〜0.635m/秒 (125ft/分)の速度で前記回転ローラーまで前進させる請求項1から3の いずれか一項に記載の方法。 5. 回転ローラー上での多孔質ウェブの接触角を90〜150°にする請求項 2に記載の方法。 6. 回転ローラーを50〜250℃の温度に維持する請求項1から5のいずれ か一項に記載の方法。 7. 回転ローラー上での多孔質ウェブの接触角を120〜150°にする請求 項2に記載の方法。 8. 残留樹脂をドクターブレードと接触させることによって回転ローラーから 除去する請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 9. 熱硬化性樹脂がエポキシ樹脂である請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載 の方法。 10. 多孔質ウェブに熱硬化性樹脂を含浸させる装置であって、移動面特に回 転ローラーからなる樹脂適用手段と、前記移動面の速度を調節する手段と、樹脂 チャンバ及び液状樹脂を前記移動面上に配置する手段からなる樹脂給送手段と、 多孔質ウェブを調節速度及びウェブ張力で前記移動面の方向に対して向流の方向 で前記移動面まで前進させて前記移動面上に配置されている熱硬化性樹脂と接触 させる手段と、多孔質ウェブが前記移動面から熱硬化性樹脂を吸収できるように 十分な張力を多孔質ウェブに与え続ける手段と、多孔質ウェブと熱硬化性樹脂担 持移動面との接触の後で移動面に残留している樹脂を除去する手段とを含み、こ れらの手段及び多孔質ウェブが、ウェブと移動面との最初の接触の前に前記残留 樹脂が多孔質ウェブ上に配置されるように配置されている装置。
