Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 心臓(H)疾患および例えば心付近の血管を、作用領域(W)を有する治 療的超音波により治療する治療装置であって、 該治療装置は治療的超音波源(1、11、55)を有し、 当該治療的超音波源は、次のような強度の治療的超音波を形成し、 当該強度は、作用領域(W)にある組織に組織変化を熱作用によって惹起す るような強度である ことを特徴とする治療装置。 2. 治療的超音波の強度は、作用領域(W)にある組織の壊疽を引き起こすの に十分である請求の範囲第1項記載の治療装置。 3. 超音波源(1)は、食道を通して適用可能であるように構成されている請 求の範囲第1項または第2項記載の治療装置。 4. 超音波源(1)は複数の治療的超音波変換器(2)を有し、 当該治療的超音波変換器は、これらから発する超音波がそれぞれ治療すべき 領域で重なるように配向可能である請求の範囲第1項から第3項までのいずれか 1項記載の治療装置。 5. 超音波源(1)は診断的超音波変換器(3)を 有し、 該診断的超音波変換器は、それぞれ治療すべき領域を位置決めするための超 音波位置決め装置の構成部材である請求の範囲第1項から第4項までのいずれか 1項記載の治療装置。 6. 治療的超音波変換器(2)と場合により診断的超音波変換器(3)とは、 チェーン状構造体(41)の構成部材であり、 該構造体はロックしない状態ではフレキシブルであり、ロックした状態では 少なくとも実質的に剛性である請求の範囲第3項から第5項までのいずれか1項 記載の治療装置。 7. 治療的超音波の送出を、心臓(H)が相対的機械的に静止状態にある心活 動フェーズ中だけトリガする手段(28、29)が設けられている請求の範囲第 1項から第6項までのいずれか1項記載の治療装置。 8. 体外適用される、例えば肋間または肋骨下で適用可能な治療的超音波源( 11、55)が設けられている請求の範囲第1項から第7項までのいずれか1項 記載の治療装置。 9. 体外適用可能な超音波源(11、55)は、これから発する治療的超音波 が他の超音波源(1、55または1、11)から発する超音波と少なくとも作用 領域(W)で重なるように配向可能である請求 の範囲第8項記載の治療装置。 10. 超音波源(1、11、55)から発する超音波、または少なくとも1つ の治療的超音波変換器(2)から発した超音波が少なくとも焦点ゾーン(FZ, FZ’)でフォーカシングされる請求の範囲第1項から第9項までのいずれか1 項記載の治療装置。 11. 比較的に大きな焦点ゾーンと比較的に小さな焦点ゾーン(FZ’,FZ )が設けられており、 それぞれ治療すべき領域における作用領域(W)の移動は、比較的に小さな 焦点ゾーン(FZ)を比較的に大きな焦点ゾーン(FZ’)内で移動することに より行う請求の範囲第10項記載の治療装置。 12. 治療的超音波源(1、11、55)の少なくとも1つ、または治療的超 音波変換器(2)の少なくとも1つは治療的超音波をパルス状に照射する請求の 範囲第1項から第11項までのいずれか1項記載の治療装置。 13. 作用領域(W)における超音波は次のようなエネルギー密度を有し、治 療的超音波のパルス照射の際のパルス持続時間は次のように選択されている、 すなわち心活動中に供給される音響エネルギーが治療的作用を引き起こすよ うなエネルギー密度と持続時間に選択されている請求の範囲第12項記載の治療 装置。 14. 作用領域における温度を検出するための手段が設けられており、 当該手段は有利には、順次連続する超音波画像から温度を定性検出するため の装置(35)を有する請求の範囲第1項から第13項までのいずれか1項記載 の治療装置。 15. 心臓疾患および例えば心付近の血管を、作用領域を有する治療的超音波 により治療する方法であって、 該治療的超音波は作用領域(W)に存在する組織において組織変化が熱作用 によって惹起されるような強度を有することを特徴とする治療方法。 16. 治療的超音波の強度は、作用領域(W)に存在する組織の壊疽を惹起す るのに十分である請求の範囲第15項記載の方法。 17. それぞれ治療すべき患者の食道(O)に、治療的超音波を形成するため の超音波源(1)を導入する請求の範囲第15項または第16項記載の方法。 18. 治療的超音波源(11、55)を体外、例えば肋間または肋骨下に適用 する請求の範囲第1項から第3項までのいずれか1項記載の方法。 19. 体外適用される超音波源(11、55)を次のように配向する、 すなわち、当該超音波源から発する治療的超音波が他の超音波源(1、55 ないし11、55)の1 つから発する治療的超音波と少なくとも作用領域(W)で重なるように配向する 請求の範囲第18項記載の方法。
