Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.回転対称で円盤状の1/4波長整合体(2)を備えた圧電変換素子(1)を 有ずる超音波変換器において、1/4波長整合体(2)がその外周面(3)及び /又は変換素子(1)側の背面(8)に切り込み(4、9、10、11)を備え 、外周面(3)の切り込み(4)が整合体(2)の円盤直径(6)の最大でも四 分の一までの深さを持つことを特徴とする超音波変換器。 2.外周面(3)が切り込み(4)以外において円筒の外周面に相当することを 特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の超音波変換器。 3.外周面(3)が切り込み(4)を備え、この切り込みの深さが1/4波長整 合体(2)の上面及び下面の円形面の大きさが異なる場合少なくともこの切り込 み内に投影され、小さい方の円形面から出発する仮想の円筒外周面を切る深さ( 5)を持つことを特徴とする請求の範囲1に記載の超音波変換器。 4.圧電変換素子(1)が直径Dを持ち、この変換素子(1)側の1/4波長整 合体(2)下側円形面(8)が0.8D及び1.2Dの間の直径を持つことを特 徴とする請求の範囲1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の超音波変換器。 5.切り込み(4)の深さが整合体(2)の円盤直径(6)の0.05乃至0. 15の間にあることを特徴とする請求の範囲1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の 超音波変換器。 6.超音波変換器全体が整合体(2)の音響媒体側の面を除いて発泡剤被覆を備 えていることを特徴とする請求の範囲1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の超音波 変換器。 7.発泡剤被覆が実質的にポリウレタンからなることを特徴とする請求の範囲6 に記載の超音波変換器。 8.1/4波長整合体(2)が合成発泡剤からなることを特徴とする請求の範囲 1ないし7のいずれか1項に記載の超音波変換器。 9.整合体(2)の背面側の面(8)に設けられる切り込み(4)が最大でも整 合体(2)の厚さの半分の深さを持つ円筒状の空所(9)として構成されている ことを特徴とする請求の範囲1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載の超音波変換器。 10.整合体(2)の背面側の面(8)に設けられる切り込み(4)が最大でも 整合体(2)の厚さの半分の深さを持つ同心状の環状溝(10、、11)の形に 構成されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載の 超音波変換器。
