Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】 中高生理用ナプキンの着用違和感を軽減す
る。 【構成】 生理用ナプキン１の表面シート２を熱可塑性
合成繊維不織布および開孔を有する熱可塑性合成樹脂フ
ィルムのいずれかからなる上層シート１１と、上層シー
トよりも親水性の強い熱可塑性合成繊維不織布からなる
下層シート１３とによって構成する。上下層シート１
１，１３は、ナプキン１の中央域６を除くその他の域７
において熱エンボス加工により間欠的に融着一体化し、
中央域６を他の域７よりも高くかつ柔弾性に富むように
形成する。

Description

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】この発明は、生理用ナプキンに関
する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来、生理用ナプキンの少なくとも前後
左右の中央部をその周辺部分より特に厚くした、いわゆ
る中高のナプキンは公知である。例えば、実開昭５８−
１３２２７号公報には、下部吸収材の上面中央部にこれ
よりも細幅厚層の上部吸収材を重ねて中高のナプキンと
する技術が開示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】前記公知技術のごとき
構成の中高のナプキンでは、その中高の部分が、女性局
部の陰唇に当接するが、ナプキンの他の部分とほぼ同剛
性であるため、局部に強い違和感を与えるばかりでな
く、陰唇に密着せず、中高に形成した効果が充分に発揮
されず、経血が漏れる。
【０００４】そこで、この発明は、ナプキンの中高域を
その周辺域よりも柔弾性に富むように形成することによ
って前記問題を解決することを課題にしている。
【０００５】
【課題を解決するための手段】この発明が前記課題を解
決するために手段とするところは、以下のとおりであ
る。
【０００６】この発明が前提とするのは、透液性表面シ
ートと不透液性裏面シートとの間に吸液性コアが介在し
てなる生理用ナプキンである。
【０００７】かかる前提において、前記表面シートが熱
可塑性合成材料からなる上層シートと、その上層シート
よりも親水性の強い熱可塑性合成繊維不織布からなる下
層シートとによって構成され、それら上下層シートが前
記ナプキン中央域を除いて間欠的に施した熱エンボス加
工により融着一体化されるとともに、前記中央域が他の
域よりも高くかつ柔弾性に富むように形成されているこ
とがこの発明の特徴である。

【作用】かかる生理用ナプキンの表面シートは、中央部
（中高の部分）が女性局部の陰唇に柔らかく密着し、経
血がその吸収面と女性局部の肌との間から漏れるのを有
効に防止する。
【０００９】
【実施例】この発明に係る生理用ナプキンの詳細を添付
の図面を参照して説明すると、以下のとおりである。
【００１０】図１、２は、生理用ナプキン１の部分破断
斜視図と、そのＩＩ−ＩＩ線断面図である。ナプキン１
は、透液性表面シート２と、不透液性裏面シート３と、
それら両シート２，３間に介在する吸液性コア４とから
なり、表裏面シート２，３は、コア４の周縁から延出す
る部分がシールライン５で接合している。
【００１１】表面シート２は、ナプキン１の前後および
左右の各側部間に位置する中央域６が周辺域７よりも盛
り上がっている。裏面シート３は、熱可塑性合成樹脂フ
ィルムからなり、コア４はパルプを賦型したものであっ
て、各々パルプからなり厚みが一様である。かく構成さ
れたナプキン１は、いわゆる中高ナプキンの外観を呈し
ている。
【００１２】図３は、図２の部分Ａにおける表面シート
２の拡大断面図である。表面シート２は、微細な透液性
開孔１０を有する熱可塑性合成樹脂フィルム１１からな
る上層シートと、熱可塑性合成繊維不織布１３からなる
下層シートとによって構成され、上下層シートは、周辺
域７に対して施した熱エンボス加工による間欠的な融着
部１５において接合し、一体化している。不織布１３
は、周辺域７で圧縮された状態にあり、熱エンボス加工
を施していない中央域６は、その加工を施してある周辺
域７に比べて柔弾性に富んでいる。また熱可塑性合成繊
維からなる不織布１３には、親水化処理を施してその親
水性をフィルム１１より強く、コア４よりも弱くしてあ
る。したがって、かかる表面シート２を使用したナプキ
ン１では、中高な中央域６が女性局部の陰裂部を含む陰
唇によく密着して経血の横漏れを防止し、その中央域６
に排泄された経血は、表面シート２を中央域６において
透過してコア４に吸収される。
【００１３】図４は、図１と異なる態様のナプキン１の
平面図である。このナプキン１では、左右両側部分にの
み熱エンボス加工を施すことにより、中高な中央域６が
前後両端間に延びている。
【００１４】この発明において、表面シート２の上層に
使用する開孔を有するフィルム１１としては、特開平４
−８９０５４号公報等に開示されたものを利用すること
ができる。また、フィルム１１に代えて熱可塑性合成繊
維からなる不織布を利用することができる。ただし、そ
の不織布は下層に使用する不織布１３よりも親水性を弱
くして、経血が上層から下層へ速やかに移行できるよう
にすることが好ましい。なお、これらの不織布には繊維
が互いに機械的に交絡したものや、熱融着して交絡した
もの、ホットメルト接着剤などの接着剤を介して交絡し
たものなどを使用することができる。コア４は、粉砕パ
ルプに高吸水性ポリマーを混合したものでもよい。

【発明の効果】この発明における生理用ナプキンは、表
面シートを中高に形成するとともに、その中高域をその
周辺域よりも柔弾性に富むように形成してあるから、女
性局部に違和感を与えることがないばかりでなく、陰裂
部を含む陰唇によく密着し経血の漏れを防ぐことができ
る。また表面シートを構成する上下層シートが融着一体
化しているから、ナプキンの着用中、それらが経血の吸
収性を低下させる層間剥離や不規則な皺などを生じるこ
とがない。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】透液性表面シートと不透液性裏面シートと
    の間に吸液性コアが介在してなる生理用ナプキンにおい
    て、 前記表面シートが熱可塑性合成樹脂素材からなる上層シ
    ートと、前記上層シートよりも親水性の強い熱可塑性合
    成繊維不織布からなる下層シートとによって構成され、
    前記上下層が前記ナプキンの中央域を除いて間欠的に施
    した熱エンボス加工により融着一体化されるとともに、
    前記中央域が他の域よりも高くかつ柔弾性に富むように
    形成されていることを特徴とする前記ナプキン。
  2. 【請求項２】前記熱可塑性合成樹脂素材が繊維不織布お
    よび開孔を有するフィルムのいずれかからなる請求項１
    に記載のナプキン。
