Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 「産業上の利用分野」 本考案はジョイステイツクに関する。
「従来技術及びその課題」 従来のジョイステイツクは、例えば実開昭55−17379号
のように操作棒を中心位置に自動復帰させるために一組
の可変抵抗器それぞれの回転軸にトーションバネを係合
させた、いわゆる2軸トーションバネ構造が用いられて
いる。しかしながらこのような2軸トーションバネ構造
のジョイステイツクは操作棒の保持力が2つのトーショ
ンバネそれぞれの弾発力によって決まるので、第3図に
示すように操作棒の傾斜角及び傾斜方向によって保持力
が異なり操作性が極めて悪く、また傾斜角が小さいほど
保持力が小さくなる、すなわち操作棒の復元力が小さく
なるために操作棒の中心位置へ復帰する精度が悪かっ
た。
前記従来例に対し、本願出願人は実開昭63−188906号に
よって、操作棒がその下端部に1本のコイルバネを介さ
れて伸縮でき、縦断面形状がほぼV字状で操作棒最下端
部位がその内壁傾斜面を圧接摺動するガイドケースを備
えた一軸圧縮コイルバネ構造のジョイステイックを開示
した。
この一軸圧縮コイルバネ構造のジョイステイツクは操作
棒下端部に介されたコイルバネの弾発力によって操作棒
を中心位置に自動復帰させ、しかも1本のコイルバネに
よって操作棒の保持力が決まるので操作棒の傾斜方向に
依らず同心円上の保持力を均一にできるものではある
が、ガイドケースの内壁を単にカップ形状としただけで
あるため、操作棒の傾斜角に依ってその保持力が変化し
てしまい、操作をする感触が微妙に変化するという課題
を有していた。
本考案の目的は、一軸圧縮コイルバネ構造のジョイステ
イツクを更に操作性の良い、しかも操作棒の中心位置へ
の復帰精度が良いジョイステイツクとするために、操作
棒の保持力がその傾斜方向及び傾斜角に依らず常に均一
なジョイステイツクを提供することである。
「課題を解決するための手段」 上記課題を解決するために本考案は、少なくとも操作棒
1と、前記操作棒1の下端部で該操作棒1と同軸のコイ
ルバネ3に付勢された移動ピース4と、前記操作棒1の
中立状態で前記移動ピース4の先端部が最低位置となる
カップ形状の内壁12を有するガイドケース7とから構成
され、前記操作棒1を傾けたとき前記移動ピース4の先
端部が前記内壁12の曲面を圧接摺動するジョイステイツ
クにおいて、前記操作棒1の中立状態からの傾斜角をθ
としたとき、前記内壁12の曲面と前記コイルバネ3の縮
みとの間に、前記縮みが前記傾斜角θの平方根に比例す
る関係を持たせる。
「作用」 上記のように本考案のジョイステイツクは構成されてい
るので、操作棒1の保持力Fは操作棒1の傾斜角θに依
らず一定となる。
「実施例」 第1図(a),(b),(c)及び第2図を用いて本考
案の一実施例を説明する。
第1図(a),(b)は本考案の一実施例であるジョイ
ステイツクの断面図で、同図(a)は操作棒の中立状態
を示し、同図(b)は操作棒を角度θ傾斜させた状態を
示す。また第1図(c)は本実施例のジョイステイツク
の斜視図である。また第2図は本考案のジョイステイツ
クにおける操作棒の保持力を示すグラフである。
各図において同一部位には同一番号を付してあり、1は
操作棒、2a,2bはセンターシャフト、3はコイルバネ、
4は移動ピース、5は球面体、6はアウターケース、7
はガイドケース、8a,8bはエンコーダ、9はシャフトカ
バー、10は操作棒1をセンターシャフト2bに回動自在に
支承させるピン、11a,11bはセンターシャフト2a,2bの中
間部に開けられた操作棒1が各軸方向に嵌遊される穴、
12はガイドケース7の内壁である。
センターシャフト2a,2bは直交した状態でそれぞれアウ
ターケース6に軸回動自在に保持され、一端がアウター
ケース6の外でそれぞれエンコーダ8a,8bの回転軸とな
っている。そして操作棒1の傾斜方向及び傾斜角に応じ
てセンターシャフト2a,2bは回動される。センターシャ
フト2bにピン10で支承された操作棒1はその下端部の同
軸上にコイルバネ3を介した移動ピース4が取り付けら
れている。そしてコイルバネ3は移動ピース4先端部の
球面体5をアウターケース6に固定されたガイドケース
7の内壁12に圧接する。操作棒1は操作されないとき第
1図(a)のようにコイルバネ3が最も伸びた中心位置
を維持し、操作棒1が操作されたときは第1図(b)の
ように内壁12に沿ってコイルバネ3が縮むので、操作棒
1から手を離すと操作棒1は中心位置へ自動復帰され
る。
ここで操作棒1を操作したときコイルバネ3は だけ縮むよう内壁12のカップ形状を規定したので、第2
図に示すように操作棒1の保持力は傾斜方向、傾斜角に
依らず全域で均一となることを次に示す。
ここで保持力Fを保持モーメントMで考えると、保持モ
ーメントMとコイルバネ3に蓄えられるエネルギーEは となり、(1)式において保持力Fがθに無関係に一定
とすれば となる。またコイルバネ3に蓄えられるエネルギーEは
コイルバネ3の縮み量をδとして となるので、(2)(3)式より が導かれる。
つまり、保持力Fを一定とするために、(4)式で表さ
れる様にコイルバネ3が縮めばよい。
従って、本考案によるジョイステイツクを操作すると操
作棒1がどのような傾斜方向及び傾斜角の状態において
も保持力Fが均一であるから操作性が極めて良く、操作
棒が精度良く中心位置へ復帰される。
なお、本実施例は本考案の一実施例に過ぎず、例えばエ
ンコーダ8a,8bの代わりにボリュームを用いること、球
面体5と移動ピース4を一体として移動ピース4の先端
部を球面状とすること、アウターケース6とガイドケー
ス7を一体にすること等は任意である。
「効果」 以上のように本考案のジョイステイツクは構成されてい
るので、操作棒の保持力は同一円周上だけでなくあらゆ
る傾斜角で均一なので極めて操作性が優れており、操作
棒が中心位置へ精度良く復帰される。

同図(a)は操作棒の中立状態を示し、同図(b)は操
作棒を角度θだけ倒した状態を示し、同図(c)はジョ
イステイツクの斜視図を示す。また第2図は本考案のジ
ョイステイツクにおける操作棒の保持力を示すグラフで
ある。 第3図は従来のジョイステイツクにおける操作棒の保持

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】少なくとも操作棒1と、前記操作棒1の下
    端部で該操作棒1と同軸のコイルバネ3に付勢された移
    動ピース4と、前記操作棒1の中立状態で前記移動ピー
    ス4の先端部が最低位置となるカップ形状の内壁12を有
    するガイドケース7とから構成され、前記操作棒1を傾
    けたとき前記移動ピース4の先端部が前記内壁12の曲面
    を圧接摺動するジョイスティックにおいて、前記操作棒
    1の中立状態からの傾斜角をθとしたとき、前記内壁12
    の曲面と前記コイルバネ3の縮みとの間に、前記縮みが
    前記傾斜角θの平方根に比例する関係を持たせたことを
    特徴とするジョイスティック。
