Description
Claims (10)
- 1.選択された冠状大動脈の処置に使用するガイドカテーテルであって、ほぼ直 線状をなす基端部分と、先端を有し、かつほぼ湾曲した先端部分とを備えた中空 の可撓性を有するチューブ状本体を備え、前記先端部分は前記先端に隣接する第 1の湾曲部分、その第1の湾曲部分に隣接する第2の湾曲部分及び第2の湾曲部 分に隣接する第3の湾曲部分を備え、各湾曲部分は、ガイドカテーテルが下行大 動脈を通り、大動脈弓を通過して上行大動脈に至るまで進行した後、前記先端が 選択された冠状大動脈の小口に対してほぼ同軸状に整合する位置まで進行し、か つガイドカテーテルの先端部分が上行大動脈の壁及び大動脈弓の壁に係合するよ うに予め形成及び配列されているガイドカテーテル。
- 2.前記第1及び第2の湾曲部分は第1の湾曲方向に沿って湾曲するように予め 形成され、第3の湾曲部分は第2の反対向きの湾曲方向に沿って湾曲するように 予め形成されている請求項1に記載のガイドカテーテル。
- 3.前記第2の湾曲部分から基端側に延びるガイドカテーテルの本体はほぼ連続 的に上行大動脈及び大動脈弓に係合する請求項1に記載のガイドカテーテル。
- 4.前記ガイドカテーテルの本体は選択された冠状動脈の小口にほぼ対向する上 行大動脈上の一点において前記先端に隣接した位置で上行大動脈にまず係合する 請求項1に記載のガイドカテーテル。
- 5.前記ガイドカテーテルの本体の先端部分の第3湾曲部分は大動脈弓の下方の 壁に係合する請求項1に記載のガイドカテーテル。
- 6.前記ガイドカテーテルの更なる進行に伴い、ガイドカテーテルの本体の先端 部分の第3湾曲部分は大動脈弓の上方の壁に係合する請求項1に記載のガイドカ テーテル。
- 7.前記第3湾曲部分はカテーテルの本体の先端部分がそれ自身に重なり合うの に十分な長さを備えるように予め形成されている請求項1に記載のガイドカテー テル。
- 8.前記先端部分の第2の湾曲部分は上行大動脈の壁に接触し、先端部分の第3 の湾曲部分は上行大動脈の壁及び大動脈弓の壁に係合する請求項1に記載のガイ ドカテーテル。
- 9.選択された冠状大動脈の処置に使用するガイドカテーテルであって、ほぼ直 線状をなす基端部分と、先端を有し、かつほぼ湾曲した先端部分とを備えた中空 の可撓性を有するチューブ状本体を備え、前記第1及び第2の湾曲部分は鈍角を なすように予め形成され、かつ、連続的に配置された複数のセグメントによって 構成され、第3の湾曲部分は使用前の形状において、予め互いに対向して配置さ れたチューブ状本体の円弧状の部分によって構成され、その先端部分がそれ自身 に重なり合うのに十分な長さを有するガイドカテーテル。
- 10.前記チューブ状本体は第1の湾曲部分から先端側へ延びる第1のほぼ直線 状のセクションを備えるとともに前記先端を含み、前記チューブ状本体は第1及 び第2の湾曲部分の間に延ひる第2のほぼ直線状のセクションを備える請求項9 に記載のガイドカテーテル。
