Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.左冠状動脈の開口部に到達させるべく大動脈の中を通して挿入されるための カテーテルにおいて、 基端部と、該基端部から末端方向に延伸する直線部と、該直線部から末端方向 に延伸する湾曲部とを含む細長い管状部材と、 該直線部分から末端方向に延伸する第2湾曲部分と、該第2湾曲部が曲率半径 Srを有していることと、該第2湾曲部から末端方向に延伸する主湾曲部分と、 該主湾曲部が曲率半径Prを有していることとからなる該湾曲部と、 該カテーテルの末端部が左冠状動脈の開口部内に位置している時は、該Prは 該Srとほぼ等しいことと を備えるカテーテル。 2.該カテーテルが生体外にある時は、該Prは該Srよりも大きい請求項1に 記載のカテーテル。 3.該カテーテルが生体外にある時は、該Prと該Srとは異なる請求項1に記 載のカテーテル。 4.該カテーテルが生体外にある時は、該Prは該Sr以上である請求項1に記 載のカテーテル。 5.該主湾曲部と該第2湾曲部が比率Pr/Srを有することと、生体外におけ るPr/Sr比が1.3〜1.8の範囲にあることとからなる請求項4に記載の カテーテル。 6.該主湾曲部と該第2湾曲部が比率Pr/Srを有することと、生体内におけ る比が1.0に近接していることとからなる請求項4に記載のカテーテル。
