CONSTITUTION:Slantingly cut line 3 is formed on one face side of a glass plate by a diamond disc saw 2 and then, the outside in the region enclosed by a cut line 3 is heated. Thereby, the glass plate 1 is deformed by difference of thermal expansion generated in the thickness direction of the glass plate 1. Then, the slantingly cut line 3 instantaneously reaches side face opposite to the heating face by this deformation.
