Description
Claims (11)
- 1.1次及び2次巻線を有するステップアップ変圧器と、上記1次巻線に電気的 に接続された第1エネルギー源と、上記ステップアップ変圧器の上記2次巻線に 並列に電気的接続されたスパークギャップであって、上記第1エネルギー源から 放出されたエネルギーが上記スパークギャップにまたがるスパークを形成するに 充分な強度及び巾のエネルギーを上記スパークギャップに与えるようになったス パークギャップと、上記スパークギャップ及び上記2次巻線に直列に電気的接続 された第2エネルギー源であって、この第2エネルギー源と上記1次巻線との間 の結合と、上記2次巻線から放出されたエネルギーによるこの第2エネルギー源 の充電は最小にされ、この第2エネルギー源から放出されるエネルギーが上記ス パークギャップ間にアークを持続するに充分な強度及び巾のエネルギーを低抵抗 路を経て上記スパークギャップに与えるようになった第2エネルギー源とを具備 することを特徴とする点火システム。
- 2.上記の低抵抗路は、上記第2エネルギー源からスパークギャップヘのエネル ギー伝達中には低い抵抗を与える向きにされたダイオードであって、上記第2エ ネルギー源から2次巻線を通るエネルギーの伝達に対しては高い抵抗を与えて上 記第2エネルギー源を1次巻線からデカップリングする向きにされたダイオード を備えている請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 3.上記低抵抗路は上記2次巻線を含み、そして上記第2エネルギー源を上記1 次巻線からデカップリングするために変圧器コアの飽和が使用される請求項1に 記載のシステム。
- 4.上記第1エネルギー源は、当該作動条件のもとでスパークを形成するための 最小ではあるが充分な量のエネルギーを供給する請求項1、2又は3に記載のシ ステム。
- 5.上記第1エネルギー源は、マグネトより成る請求項1、2又は3に記載のシ ステム。
- 6.上記第1エネルギー源は、各ポイントをもつケタリング又はスイッチング用 のトランジスタより成る請求項1、2又は3に記載のシステム。
- 7.上記第1エネルギー源は、CDIより成る請求項1、2又は3に記載のシス テム。
- 8.上記第2エネルギー源は、アーク電流を増加するように働く請求項1、2又 は3に記載のシステム。
- 9.上記第2エネルギー源は、初期状態をもつキャパシタより成る請求項1、2 又は3に記載のシステム。
- 10.上記スパークギャップは、ソースインピーダンスと負荷インピーダンスが 実質的に一致するような狭インピーダンスデルタ特性を有する請求項1、2又は 3に記載のシステム。
- 11.上記スパークギャップは、表面ギャップスパークプラグによって構成され る請求項1、2又は3に記載のシステム。
