Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.水性アルカリ性現像液で現像した場合に高コントラストの画像を形成するの に適したハロゲン化銀写真要素であって、(1)表面潜像形成性高塩化物ハロゲ ン化銀粒子、(2)核生成剤として機能するヒドラジン化合物、及び(3)含有 ブースターとして機能するアミノ化合物からなり、更に、ベンズイミダゾール環 の窒素原子に結合した少なくとも1個の酸置換アルキル基を有するベンズイミダ ゾロカルボシアニン増感色素を含むことを特徴とする写真要素。 2.該増感色素が、式: ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ (式中、X1、X2、X3及びX4は、独立に、水素、シアノ、アルキル、ハロ 、ハロアルキル、アルキルチオ、アルコキシカルボニル、アリール、カルバモイ ル又は置換カルバモイルであり、R1及びR3はアルキルであり、そしてR2及 びR4は、独立に、アルキル、アルケニル、置換アルキル又は置換アルケニルで あるが、R2及びR4の少なくとも一方は酸置換アルキルであり、更に、R2及 びR4が共に酸置換アルキルである場合には、電荷をバランスさせるためにカチ オンも存在する)を有する、請求の範囲第1項記載のハロゲン化銀写真要素。 3.該増感色素が下記式: 0.455Σσ1(R1−R4)+0.144Σσp(X1−X4)+0.61 0≧0.68 (式中、σ1はタフトのシグマ誘導定数であり、そしてσpはハメットのシグマ (パラ)定数である)を満足する、請求の範囲第1項又は第2項記載のハロゲン 化銀写真要素。 4.R1及びR3が炭素数1〜6のアルキル基である請求の範囲第2項記載のハ ロゲン化銀写真要素。 5.R1及びR3が独立にメチル又はエチルである請求の範囲第2項記載のハロ ゲン化銀写真要素。 6.X1〜X4の2個が同時にハロではない請求の範囲第2項記載のハロゲン化 銀写真要素。 7.X1及びX3の1個のみがクロロである請求の範囲第2項記載のハロゲン化 銀写真要素。 8.R2及びR4の少なくとも1個が2−スルホエチル、3−スルホプロピル、 3−スルホブチル又は4−スルホブチルである請求の範囲第2項記載のハロゲン 化銀写真要素。 9.該ハロゲン化銀粒子が少なくとも70モル%塩化銀である請求の範囲第1〜 8項の何れか1項記載のハロゲン化銀写真要素。 10.該ハロゲン化銀粒子がロジウムドーピングされている請求の範囲第1〜8 項の何れか1項記載のハロゲン化銀写真要素。 11.該ヒドラジン化合物が、式: ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ (式中、Rは少なくとも3個の繰り返しエチレンオキシ単位からなる一価の基で あり、mは1〜6であり、Yは二価の芳香族基であり、そしてR1は水素又は保 護基である)のアリールスルホンアミドフエニルヒドラジドである、請求の範囲 第1〜10項の何れか1項記載のハロゲン化銀写真要素。 12.該アミノ化合物が、(1)少なくとも3個の繰り返しエチレンオキシ単位 からなり、そして(3)n−オクタノール/水分配係数(logP)が少なくと も1で、1ogPが式:logP=log([X]n−オクタノール/[X]水 )(式中、Xは該アミノ化合物の濃度である)により定義される化合物である、 請求の範囲第1〜11項の何れか1項記載のハロゲン化銀写真要素。
