Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.(a)1つ以上の本質的に平行なコアー繊維を含むコアー、(b)コアーを 囲みそしてコアーの外面の少なくとも50パーセントを覆う1つ以上のラップ繊 維を含む外装、及び(c)硬化する前は流動性であり少なくとも50,000p siの圧縮弾性率を有する硬化した樹脂に硬化できる硬化性樹脂を含み、 (1)コアーが0.8mm以下の平均直径を有しかつその引張強度の30パーセ ント以下である圧縮強度を有する繊維を含み、(2)包装繊維が0.1パーセン ト未満の半径方向の圧縮下でコアーを囲み、そして (3)硬化性樹脂がコアー及び外装の両方を含浸することを特徴とする繊維状製 品 2.(a)その圧縮強度がその引張強度の30パーセント以下である多数の支持 繊維、及び(b)少なくとも50,000psiの圧縮弾性率を有する少々くと も1種のマトリックスポリマーを含み、(1)支持繊維が包装繊維に囲まれた本 質的に平行な繊維のコアーに構成され、各コアーが0.8mm以下の平均直径を 有し、包装及びコアー繊維の構造体が1.3mm以下の平均直径を有し、(2) マトリックス樹脂がコアー繊維及び包装繊維の両方と接触しており、 (3)マトリックス複合体が少なくとも20MPaの圧縮強度を有することを特 徴とするマトリックス複合体。 3.以下の工程 (1)その圧縮強度がその引張強度の30パーセント以下である多数の繊維を含 む、0.8mm以下の平均直径を有するコアーのまわりに少なくとも21gかつ 1000g以下の張力で外装繊維を巻き付け繊維状製品を形成すること、及び (2)少なくとも50,000psiの圧縮強度を有する硬化したポリマーに硬 化可能な流動性樹脂で繊維状製品を含浸し、コアー及び繊維を共に流動性樹脂で 含浸すること を含む方法。 4.さらに以下の工程、 (3)含浸された繊維状製品を選ばれた成形品の形状で重ねること、及び (4)流動性樹脂を硬化させマトリックス複合体を形成することを含む、請求項 3記載の方法。 5.コアー内の繊維がポリベンゾアゾールポリマーもしくはアラミドポリマー又 は延伸されたポリエチレン樹脂を含む、前記請求項のいずれかに記載の発明。 6.硬化性樹脂がエポキシ樹脂又はポリシアネート樹脂である、前記請求項のい ずれかに記載の発明。 7.コアーのまわりに包装された繊維が少なくとも21g、かつ1000g以下 の張力を有する、請求項1、2、4、5、又は6のいずれか記載の発明。 8.コアーが0.1パーセント未溝の半径方向の圧縮下にある、請求項2〜7の いずれか記載の発明。 9.生成物が硬化性マトリックス樹脂を30〜50重量パーセント含む、前記請 求項のいずれか記載の発明。 10.包装繊維がコアーの表面の少なくとも90パーセントを覆う、前記請求項 のいずれか記載の発明。
