This prepreg is made by impregnating a glass fiber non-woven fabric with a resin and then drying the prepreg. However, due to the properties of the base material, it contains many bubbles. Therefore, the laminated plate made by using at least a part of this has a large number of voids because the bubbles do not completely escape. The voids appear as blisters during the processing of the product and deteriorate the yield. Resins and glass fiber powder are often attached to the surface of a prepreg based on a glass fiber nonwoven fabric. Therefore, when this prepreg is combined, powders of these resins and glass fibers fly up and adhere to the surface of the copper foil. As a result, on the surface of the finished product, defects referred to as Dakon (dent) defects are likely to appear. Here, the Dakon defect refers to the fact that resin or glass fiber powder is pressed on the surface of the copper foil to cause a pitted defect on the copper foil.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is a method for producing a prepreg in which a glass fiber nonwoven fabric is used as a base material, and the base material is impregnated with a resin, and then dried. A method for producing a prepreg is characterized in that a base material impregnated with the above resin is placed on a hot roll while in a dryer.

FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the figure, the substrate 5 made of glass fiber non-woven fabric is passed through the impregnation tank 2 and impregnated with resin by using the impregnation roller 21 as usual. This resin impregnation may be performed by a method other than the above. The base material 5 thus impregnated with the resin
Is passed through the dryer 1 to be dried. In order to reduce the space of the dryer 1, the resin-impregnated base material 5 is
It is inverted in the second chamber 13 while going from the first chamber 11 to the third chamber 12 provided with the heat rolls 3a and 3b. Guidance therefor is performed using the guide rolls 4 ... Thermo roll 3
The a and 3b are heated by flowing a heat medium or the like. The temperature condition and the pressure condition may be appropriately set, but normally, the condition of a temperature of 100 to 200 ° C. and a pressure of 3 to 15 kg / cm 2 (preferably 5 to 10 kg / cm 2 ) is selected. Such heat rolls may be provided in two or more stages. In the case of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1, a hot roll is provided in the dryer, and the resin-impregnated substrate is placed on the hot roll while it is in the dryer. There is no limitation on the type of impregnating resin.

In the present invention, while the substrate impregnated with the resin is in the dryer, applying a hot roll means that in the drying step,
This is because the resin is still soft and bubbles can easily escape.
By this hot roll application, bubbles causing voids can be removed from the prepreg.

(Example 1) A glass fiber nonwoven fabric was impregnated with a resin and dried. During this drying, a prepreg was obtained by passing it through two hot rolls near the exit of the dryer. The hot roll was heated to 150 ° C. with a heating medium. The pressure was 5 kg / cm 2 . The obtained prepregs were laminated and molded under the conditions of 160 ° C., 60 minutes and 50 kg / cm 2 .

[Effects of the Invention] The method for producing a prepreg according to the present invention is as described above, and is a method for producing a prepreg in which a glass glass fiber non-woven fabric is used as a base material, and the base material is impregnated with a resin and then dried. In this case, the resin-impregnated base material is placed on a hot roll while the resin-impregnated base material is in the dryer. That is, preliminary defoaming is applied to the prepreg. Therefore, voids are less likely to remain in the product made using this. As described above, since voids are unlikely to occur, it has become unnecessary to take time to remove voids in the past, and it has become possible to shorten the molding cycle in the press working for producing a laminated product. Since the surface of the prepreg is pressed by a hot roll, powder of resin and glass fiber does not easily rise, so that it is less likely to cause a bad lacquer.
