Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the disinfectant which has an excellent sterilizing property, has high safety to a living body and less affects environment by incorporating lactic acid and ethyl alcohol into the disinfectant. CONSTITUTION:The lactic acid and the ethyl alcohol are incorporated into the disinfectant. The lactic acid and particularly the L-lactic acid which is one of the in-vivo components are used as the disinfecting components. The influence on the living body and the environment is lessened and the excellent disinfecting and sterilizing effects are obtd. by compounding the ethyl alcohol into this lactic acid. The L-lactic acid is preferably the L-lactic acid obtd. by a fermentation method. The L-lactic acid exhibits a slow acting sterilizing power. On the other hand, the ethyl alcohol has a prompt acting sterilizing power and, therefore, when this sterilizing agent is sprayed to an object, the ethyl alcohol having the prompt acting sterilizing power exhibits an effect in executing disinfection and sterilization. After the ethyl alcohol evaporates, the remaining lactic acid exhibits a perfect disinfection effect and the sterilizing effects of both components compensate each other. This disinfecting agent is adequate in daily life and is particular adequate as a portable disinfectant.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, interest in health and the concept of hygiene in daily life have increased remarkably, and especially young people and women have a keen sense of cleanliness. For example, a wet tissue for wiping stains on hands and feet, or a cleaner for removing stains and disinfecting public facilities such as toilets, hanging leather, and handrails that come into direct contact with the skin have been nominated. Current,
Various bactericides, disinfectants, or cleaners are commercially available to remove such stains and disinfect.

However, strong bactericides have various side effects such as rough skin and strong skin irritation, and are not suitable as sanitizers for daily life and for carrying. It is necessary that the disinfectant and bactericide used for household and portable use have no toxicity or danger to the human body and have sufficient safety. Conventionally, ethyl alcohol has been known only as such a drug in the medical and food fields.
The concentration of ethyl alcohol used in the medical field is high,
On the other hand, it is used at a relatively low concentration in the food field. The bactericidal power of ethyl alcohol (about 80%) has excellent fast-acting properties,
Can also be used directly on the skin.

L-lactic acid contained in the disinfectant of the present invention has a slow-acting bactericidal power, while ethyl alcohol has a fast-acting bactericidal power. Therefore, when the disinfectant of the present invention is sprayed on an object, first, ethyl alcohol having a fast-acting bactericidal effect is effective for sterilization and sterilization is performed, and after this is evaporated, the remaining lactic acid is completely sterilized. It shows the effect, and the bactericidal effects of both components complement each other.

After 30 minutes and 24 hours, 1 mL of the action test solution was taken and sequentially diluted 10 4 times with 0.005% aerosol OT sterilized solution. 0.1 from the working test solution and each diluted test solution
mL was aseptically taken out and inoculated on a potato dextrose agar plate (Eurotium tonophilum is 50% glucose-added potato dextrose agar plate). This potato dextrose agar plate was cultured at 27 ° C. for 7 days, and the growing mold colonies were counted to determine the mold per 1 mL of the sample.

Regarding the bactericidal action, a trypticase soy broth (BBL) was used to prepare a bacterial solution of the second passage in advance (10 6 cells / mL), and 1 mL was put in each test tube. After allowing this to act for a certain period of time in the same manner as mold, 1 mL of the action test solution was taken and serially diluted with physiological saline to 10 5 times. 1 mL of the action test solution and each diluted test solution was aseptically taken out and placed in a petri dish, and 15 mL of sterile trypticase soy agar medium was placed therein and mixed. After the agar solidified, it was cultured at 37 ° C. for 24 hours, and the growing colonies were counted to determine the number of bacteria per 1 mL of the sample.
