Abstract

(57)【要約】 【構成】 ピストン（１）外周に設けたシール溝
（２）、該ピストン外径よりも小さい内径を有する非伸
縮性のシールリング（５）を嵌入し、Ｏリング（４）を
介して組付ける構造において、上記シール溝（２）形成
側の円柱形端部（３）の外径をシールリング（５）の内
径より小さくして該シールリング（５）をシール溝
（２）にＯリング（４）を介して嵌入し、さらに嵌入し
た該シールリング（５）と円柱形端部（３）の内側端面
との間隙にシールリングの脱落防止用バックアップリン
グ（６）を装着したことを特徴とするシールリングの組
付構造。 【効果】 本考案は予めピストン外周にシール溝を設け
ておくものであるため、組付性が向上して作業工数が低
減し、シール部の精度が向上する等の効果がある。

【考案の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】
本考案はピストンの外周に一連の凹溝として予め刻設されているシール溝にシ ールリングを組付ける構造に関するものである。

【従来の技術及び考案が解決しようとする課題】
一般にシールリングは樹脂製のため、Ｏ−リングのように引き伸ばして組付け ることは不可能である。そこで従来は図３に示すようにピストン（１）のシール リング組付側の外周を内側が大径で外側が小径となる２段階状に切欠きこの内側 段部にＯ−リング（４）を嵌合した後、その上にシールリング（５）を嵌合して から外側段部にストッパー（７）を圧入してシール溝（２）をあとから形成する ようにしている。このためストッパーの圧入時に圧入屑が発生する他、シールか み込みの問題があり、又部品数も増える等の欠点がある。
【０００３】 そこで本考案ではシール溝をピストンの外周に始めから予め作っておき、これ にシールリングを組付ける構造について検討の結果、本考案に至ったものである 。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本考案の要旨とする所は、ピストン外周に設けたシール溝に、該ピストン外径 よりも小さい内径を有する非伸縮性のシールリングを嵌入し、Ｏリングを介して 組付ける構造において、上記シール溝形成側の円柱形端部の外径をシールリング の内径より小さくして該シールリングをシール溝にＯリングを介して嵌入し、さ らに嵌入した該シールリングと円柱形端部の内側端面との間隙にシールリングの 脱落防止用バックアップリングを装着したことを特徴とするシールリングの組付 構造に存し、これにより所期の目的を収めたものである。

【作用及び考案の効果】 本考案はピストンのシール溝が形成されているシールリング組付側のピストン 端部の外径をシールリングの内径よりも小さくし、即ちシールリング組付側端部 の外周を同心円状に小さくするものであり、シールリング組付後、シールリング の抜け止めのため脱落防止リングを装着する。
【０００６】 上記の如く本考案によれば予めピストン外周に設けたシール溝にシールリング を組付けるものであるため、その組付性およびシール部精度が向上する利点を有 している。

【実施例】
第１図および第２図に示すようにピストン（１）のシール溝（２）形成側の円 柱形端部（３）をピストン外周と同心円で径の小さなものとした例である。 この場合にはシールリング（５）の内径はピストン（１）の外径より小さく、 端部（３）の外径よりも大きくなっている。
【０００８】 そこで先ず伸縮性のあるＯ−リング（４）をシール溝（２）に嵌合させ、次い でシールリング（５）を端部（３）側から装入して上記Ｏ−リング（４）の上に 嵌める。そしてシールリング（５）が端部（３）から抜け落ちることを防止する ためにシール溝（２）の端部（３）側にバックアップリング（６）を取付ける。

  1. 【請求項１】 ピストン外周に設けたシール溝に、該ピ
    ストン外径よりも小さい内径を有する非伸縮性のシール
    リングを嵌入し、Ｏリングを介して組付ける構造におい
    て、上記シール溝形成側の円柱形端部の外径をシールリ
    ングの内径より小さくして該シールリングをシール溝に
    Ｏリングを介して嵌入し、さらに嵌入した該シールリン
    グと円柱形端部の内側端面との間隙にシールリングの脱
    落防止用バックアップリングを装着したことを特徴とす
    るシールリングの組付構造。
