【発明の詳細な説明】

本発明はカートケースに関し、特に情報担持カートのカ

スの需要も高まってきた。

スはクレジット用、銀行カード用などに見られるように
ポリ塩化ビニル製、ポリエチレン製、ポリプロピレン製
などのプラスチック製が主流であった。これらのカード
ケースはカードとともにユーザーの手に渡ったあと、カ
ードケースだけが棄てられることが多くみられる。

本発明のカートケースは、生分解性プラスチックよりな

本発明に用いる生分解性プラスチックとは土中、水中な

するプラスチッつて、それには微生物が作るポリエステ
ル化合物であるポリヒドロキシアルカノエート例えばポ
リ−３−ヒドロキシブチレートとポリ−３−ヒドロキシ
バリレートの共重合体、ポリ−４−ヒドロキシブチレー
トとポリ−３−ヒドロキシブチレートの共重合体があり
、また、β−１，３グルカンからなる多糖類でバイオ生
産物のもの、化学合成品としては例えばポリカプロラク
トン、ポリビニルアルコール、エチレン・ビニルアルコ
ール共重合体など、更に天然高分子から誘導されるセル
ロースとキトサンの反応物、デンプンやセルロースをプ
ラスチック化したものなどがある。

実施例１
ポリ−３−ヒドロキシブチレート−ポリ−３−ヒドロキ
シハリレート共重合体を押し出し成形し、 ０．２ ｍ
ｍ厚のフィルムを得た。これを縦６０田、横１０ｃｍの
袋状に超音波ウェルダーで加工しカートケースとした。

ポリビニルブチラールの５％水溶液中にコーンスターチ
を分散させ、これを押し出し成形により０．１５ ＋ｎ
＋ｎ 厚のフィルムにした。これを実施例１と同様に加
工し、カードケースとした。

ＡＳＴＭ ０２１〜７０「合成高分子材料のカビ抵抗
性の測定法」により試験した結果。

重度）、のデータを得た。データの数備はそれが大きい
程、生分解性が大きいことを表わしており、本発明によ

た。

以上説明したように、本発明のカードケースは生分解性
プラスチックであることにより、埋立地等に廃棄されて
も微生物による生分解により分解されて廃棄物問題に貢
献できる効果がある。
