Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject yarn emitting far infrared ray and suitable for pants, gloves, etc., by adding platinum to alumina and silica, mixing the mixture into a polyester solution, forming filaments of the polymer by nozzle- spraying method and twisting the filaments with a separately prepared yarn. CONSTITUTION:Platinum is added to alumina and silica and 1 pt. of the obtained powdery mixture is mixed with preferably 1-5 pts. of a polyester solution and sprayed through a nozzle to form filaments. The filaments are twisted with a separately prepared yarn such as silk or cotton yarn to obtain the objective yarn for woven fabric.

Next, the above-mentioned liquid mixture is formed into a filament based on a nozzle injection method. The thickness of the thread-like material is suitably formed to a desired thickness, for example, 1 denier, 1.5 denier, 2 denier, etc., in the same way as ordinary thread.
This can be arbitrarily set depending on the diameter of the nozzle used.

Here, the mixing ratio of existing thread material to the filamentous material formed based on the nozzle injection method described above is as follows. Although it is desirable to do so, this is not an absolute requirement. Incidentally, if the amount of thread-like material formed based on the nozzle injection method is increased, the twisted threads will give a stiff feeling. And the far infrared effect is
There is no such thing as improving the quality by increasing the amount of the filamentous material.

Then, the thus twisted threads were formed into a cloth material using a known loom, and a shirt for underwear was sewn using the cloth material. The sewn shirt had no difference in appearance and feel compared to a regular cotton shirt. Furthermore, it was experimentally confirmed that when the shirt was worn, it exhibited extremely good heat retention properties based on far-infrared rays.
