Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the title yarn with high warmth retentivity, thus useful for clothing, etc., by mixing far infrared ray-emissive powder with a nylon solution, forming the mixture into a filamentous material through a nozzle spraying technique, which is then twisted with an existing yarn material. CONSTITUTION:An established far infrared ray-emissive powder prepared by adding platinum as additive to alumina plus silica is mixed with a nylon solution (pref. at 1-5 weight times the amount of said powder), and the mixture is formed into a filamentous material through a nozzle spraying technique. Thence, the filamentous material is twisted with pref. 1-5 weight times of an existing yarn material into the objective textile yarn.

Next, the above-mentioned liquid mixture is formed into a filament based on a nozzle injection method. The thickness of the thread-like material is suitably formed to a desired thickness, for example, 1 denier, 1.5 denier, 2 denier, etc., in the same way as ordinary thread.
This can be arbitrarily set depending on the diameter of the nozzle used.

Here, the mixing ratio of the existing thread material to the thread-like material formed based on the above-mentioned nozzle injection method is 1 to 5 times the amount of the existing thread material per thread-like material. Although it is desirable to do so, this is not an absolute requirement. Incidentally, if the amount of thread-like material formed based on the nozzle injection method is increased, the twisted threads will give a stiff feeling. And the far infrared effect is
There is no such thing as improving the quality by increasing the amount of the filamentous material.

Then, the thus twisted threads were formed into a cloth material using a known loom, and a shirt for underwear was sewn using the cloth material. The sewn shirt had no difference in appearance and feel compared to a regular cotton shirt. Furthermore, it was experimentally confirmed that when the shirt was worn, it exhibited extremely good heat retention properties based on far-infrared rays.

<Effects of the Invention> The present invention mixes a nylon solution with a known far-infrared radiation powder made of alumina and silica with platinum added as an additive, and forms the mixture into a filament based on a nozzle injection method. After that, the filament material was twisted together with existing thread material to form a textile thread, which created a completely new textile thread that had never existed before, such as a textile thread equipped with a substance that emits far-infrared rays. This makes it possible to provide yarn.
