Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔発明の属する技術分野〕 この発明はいわゆる床ずれといわれている褥瘡
の発生を予防する車椅子用シートあるいはベツド
用のマツトなどの身体支持具に関する。
〔従来技術とその問題点〕
この種の身体支持具として、ビーズ等の微粒子
でマツトを形成し、かつ下方から通気される圧縮
空気によつてビーズを流動化することにより、身
体を浮遊状態で支持するものが、例えば 特開昭
54−128196号公報で知られる。
ところで、従来の身体支持具では、ビーズ層で
形成したマツト上に例えば座位の姿勢をとると体
重が集中荷重されるために極端に臀部が沈み込ん
でマツトの支え板（空気拡散板等）に当たり強い
接触圧を受けるので、このような恐れのないよう
に、マツトのビーズ層を相当厚く形成している
が、ビーズの量が多くなりかつビーズの比重が比
較的大きいために支持具全体の重量が非常に重
く、取扱い難いという不都合がある。この点、ビ
ーズを流動化させる圧縮空気の送風量、風圧を高
めて流動ビーズの浮遊力を高め、身体の沈み込み
を防止する方法も考えられるが、この場合マツト
から吹き出す風が強くなり不快感を与える他、機
会騒音が増大するために実用的ではない。
〔発明の目的〕
この発明は上記の点に鑑み、圧縮空気の送風
量、風圧を高めることなしに身体の沈み込みを防
止し、しかも軽く取扱い性のよい身体支持具を提
供することを目的とする。
〔発明の要点〕
この発明はこの目的を、身体を支持するマツト
を、微粒子を混入した通気性のある弾性体でなる
上層と、通気性のある弾性体のみでなる下層とに
２分割し、下層から上層へ向けて通気できるよう
に構成して達成しようとするものであり、２分割
された通気性のある弾性体は連続気泡体とし、そ
の側面を通気性のない面で囲むとともに上層の上
面を通気性のあるシーツで被い、かつ、下層の下
面に空気取入口を設けるとよい。
〔発明の実施例〕
以下この発明の実施例を示す図面によりこの発
明を詳細に説明する。第２図は、この発明を用い
た身体支持装置を斜視図で示すものであり、空気
取入口１より取り入れられた空気は、送風機２に
よりダクト３内に送られ身体支持具４の上面より
出る。マツト５は、身体支持具４の形のくずれを
防止するとともに空気吐出面積を減らし身体支持
具全体をより軽量化させるものである。次にこの
発明になる身体支持具４の断面を第１図に示す。
シーツＡ６は、径が約15μの穴を開孔率約50％の
割合で持つもので、通気抵抗は低く、かつ水等の
液体は通しにくい。そして、人が接触するにふさ
わしいやわらかいシーツである。シーツＢ９は、
径が約2μの穴を開孔率約50％の割合で持つもの
で通気圧力損失が約200mm水柱であり空気をマツ
ト８内に均一に送る拡散板の役目をするやわらか
いシーツである。シーツＣ１１は、通気性を持た
ないたとえばビニールレザーのようなものであ
る。マツト８およびマツト１０は通気性を有する
連続気泡弾性体たとえば、ウレタン発泡体で構成
されている。マツト８のウレタン発泡体の気泡中
には、たとえば直径約100μのガラスビーズ、ア
クリル樹脂ビーズ、あるいは中空ガラスビーズ等
の微粒子７が混入してある。マツト１０の下面に
は、通気性を有する金網１２をひき、さらにその
下面に空気取入口１３を有する板を設けている。
このような構成において今、送風機より送られた
空気１４は、空気取入口１３より入り金網１２を
経てマツト１０とシーツＢ９を通つてマツト８の
内の微粒子７を流動させた後シーツＡ６を通つて
身体の一部に接触しながら大気に出る。この結
果、送風による身体接触部の乾燥、微粒子の流動
層上に接触することによる接触圧力の均一化、お
よび血液循環の向上、微粒子自体の弱アルカリ性
により褥瘡の発生を防止するものである。ここ
で、マツト８は微粒子７の流動による浮遊力に加
え、連続気泡弾性体がその弾性応力により荷重の
一部を分担して支えることになるため例えば座位
姿勢の臀部の沈み込みが過大にならず、安定して
身体を支えることができる。すなわち身体の過大
な沈み込みがないのでそれだけビーズ層を薄く、
したがつてビーズの量を少なくして支持具を軽く
することができる。しかも連続気泡体中に微粒子
を混入したマツト８を、連続気泡体でなるマツト
１０で支える２層構造としているので、マツト８
を極端に薄くしても身体を柔軟に支持することが
でき、さらにビーズ量を少なくして計量化が図れ
る。
第３図は、この発明の身体支持具を車椅子に応
用したもので、車椅子２１に身体支持具２２を配
設し、その身体支持具には、空調機２３により空
気の温度あるいは湿度を適度にコントロールした
空気を身体支持具２２に圧送するようにしたもの
である。さらに、この発明の身体支持具は車椅子
のみならず、航空機用椅子、自動車用椅子、大会
議場用椅子等にも応用できるものである。第４図
はベツド用の身体支持具として応用したもので、
２４が身体支持具、２５が送風機である。その
他、骨接者の副木や、脱臼者のサポーターにも応
用出来る。
〔発明の効果〕
この発明によれば、マツトを２分割し上層部の
みに微粒子を混入することにより非常に軽量化で
きるとともに、安価で簡素な褥瘡防止用身体支持
具が得られる。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. １ 身体を支持するマツトを、連続気泡弾性体と
    該連続気泡弾性体の気泡内に混入した微粒子とで
    なる上層、および連続気泡弾性体のみでなる下層
    とで構成するとともに、前記下層から上層に向け
    て圧縮空気を通気する送風装置を設けてなること
    を特徴とする身体支持具。
