【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、プレート状の平らな多
層の材料、ラミネートまたはこれに類するものを連続的
または断続的に製作する方法であって、プレス材層を圧
力と熱で流動化させて硬化させる方法に関する。

【従来の技術】それぞれ2つの変向ローラを介して案内
されるプレスベルトが上下に1つずつ配置されている、
連続的に作業するプレス装置は、ドイツ連邦共和国特許
第3347877号明細書に基づき公知である。この場
合このプレス装置の互いに向き合ったベルト区分の間で
帯状材料、例えばラミネート、エレクトロラミネート、
薄いチップボード、繊維板、合板またはこれに類するも
のが圧力作用下で圧縮され得る。この公知の形式による
複式ベルトプレスには、互いに向き合ったプレスベルト
の縁部に互いに向き合って溝が設けられており、この溝
の中にワイヤが挿入されている。このワイヤの直径は、
溝の深さの2倍と両プレスベルトの相互間隔との和とほ
ぼ同じ大きさである。

って、送り方向で見て前側では硬化した樹脂によって、
送り方向で見て後側では流動化していない樹脂によって
閉鎖されている複式ベルトプレスの反応区域において、
ワイヤは、互いに重なっているプレス材層の長手方向縁
部から間隔をおいて延びているので、長手方向側面の範
囲において流動化した樹脂が流出し、プレス材の長手方
向側面とワイヤとの間の空間を満たす。この場合プレス
材の厚さの公差が長手方向縁部範囲において損なわれる

【0008】本発明の方法の別の有利な構成では、プレ
ス材層の自由縁部の溶着と同時に、プレス材層をレーザ
光線によって同一平面で切断する。

スを用いてプレート状の平らな多層の材料、ラミネート
またはこれに類するものを連続的に製作する本発明によ
る方法を実施する装置では、レーザヘッドが、プレス間
隙へのプレス材層の進入部の直前に配置されている。レ
ーザヘッドにおいて発生させられたレーザ光線によって
、プレス材の通過方向に対して平行に延びている互いに
重ねられた自由な長手方向縁部がそれぞれ互いに溶着可
能である。

【発明の効果】本発明による方法ないし装置では、ベル
トの作業側区分によって構成されたプレス区域の側面を
シールするための側面制御体を設ける必要がなく、かつ
またプレス材の厚さが変化した場合にこの側面制限体を
適合させる必要もない。
【0011】反応区域においてプレス圧を加える前に互
いに重ねられたプレス材層の縁部を溶着することにより
、反応区域においてプレス材の全横断面にわたって等し
い運転条件が得られ、このような運転条件は、最終製品
にための狭い製作誤差範囲を維持するために必要な前提
条件を成し、従ってプレスの反応区域の後での帯状材料
のトリミングは不要となる。

【実施例】以下に本発明の実施例を図面につき詳しく説
明する。
【0013】駆動される無端のプレスベルト3を有する
複式ベルトプレス2の進入部に、熱硬化性の合成樹脂系
を備えた複数の帯材4が供給され、帯材に圧力と熱が加
えられる、複式ベルトプレスの作用区域に達する。
【0014】進入部1の範囲において、帯材4の、互い
に重ねられた整合した長手方向縁部5にはそれぞれレー
ザヘッド6が配属されており、このレーザヘッドの光線
によって互いに重ねられた長手方向縁部が互いに溶着さ
れる。これにより、作用区域を通過する時に長手方向縁
部の範囲において樹脂の外への流出が回避される。
【0015】レーザ光線を用いてまた帯材の長手方向縁
部のトリミングも行なわれる。
【0016】反応区域ないし作用区域から完成した複合
帯材が運び出され、さらに加工される。
【0017】プレスバンド3はドラム8に巻き掛けられ
ていて、プレス材を搬出端部まで運ぶ。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】  プレート状の平らな多層の材料、ラミ
    ネートまたはこれに類するものを連続的または断続的に
    製作する方法であって、プレス材層を圧力と熱で流動化
    させて硬化させる方法において、互いに重ねて配置した
    プレス材層の自由な縁部を互いに溶着させ、次いでプレ
    ス材に圧力と熱とを加えてプレス材を複合プレートまた
    は複合帯材に形成する方法。
  2. 【請求項2】  溶着をレーザ光線で行なう、請求項1
    記載の方法。
  3. 【請求項3】  プレス材層の自由縁部の溶着と同時に
    、プレス材層をレーザ光線によって同一平面で切断する
    、請求項2記載の方法。
  4. 【請求項4】  ベルトプレスを用いてプレート状の平
    らな多層の材料、ラミネートまたはこれに類するものを
    連続的に製作する方法を実施する装置であって、レーザ
    ヘッドが、プレス間隙へのプレス材層の進入部の直前に
    配置されていて、レーザヘッド内で発生させられたレー
    ザ光線によって、プレス材の通過方向に対して平行に延
    びている互いに重ねられた自由な長手方向縁部がそれぞ
    れ互いに溶着可能であることを特徴とする、請求項2又
    は3記載の方法を実施する装置。
