【発明の詳細な説明】
［産業上の利用分野］
本発明はピッキングロボットおよび無人車を用いてデー
タ処理装置用の大量の磁気テープの保管および入出庫を
無人で行うデータ処理装置用自動倉庫に関する． 〔従来の技術］ 従来、この種のデータ処理装置用自動倉庫は、無人車が
テープ授受ステーションに到着するのに従ってデータ処
理装置側と磁気テープの授受を行っていた． 〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕 上述した従来のデータ処理装置用自動倉庫は、データ処
理装置との磁気テープの授受が無人車の到着に依存して
いるため、無人車の到着が遅れた場合や、到着の順序が
所望のものでない場合に磁気テープの授受を実行するま
でに時間ロスが発生するという欠点がある． 本発明は上記の欠点に鑑み、無人車の到着に影響されず
、時間ロスの発生しないデータ処理装置用自動倉庫を提
供することを目的とする．〔課題を解決するための手段
】 本発明のデータ処理装置用自動倉庫は、データ処理装置
用の磁気テープを大量に保管しているテープ１次保管庫
と、データ処理装置側と前記磁気テープを授受するため
に設けられたテープ授受ステーションと、テープ１次保
管庫とテープ授受ステーションとの間を前記磁気テープ
を運搬する複数の無人車と、複数のピッキングロボット
を具備し、テープ１次保管庫と複数の無人車との前記磁
気テープの授受を行うテープ授受装置とからなるデータ
処理装置用自動倉庫であって、前記テープ授受ステーシ
ョンに設けられ、前記複数の無人車と前記磁気テープを
授受し一時保管するテープ２次保管庫を有する。

理装置側と磁気テープの授受を行っていた． 〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕 上述した従来のデータ処理装置用自動倉庫は、データ処
理装置との磁気テープの授受が無人車の到着に依存して
いるため、無人車の到着が遅れた場合や、到着の順序が
所望のものでない場合に磁気テープの授受を実行するま
でに時間ロスが発生するという欠点がある． 本発明は上記の欠点に鑑み、無人車の到着に影響されず
、時間ロスの発生しないデータ処理装置用自動倉庫を提
供することを目的とする．〔課題を解決するための手段
】 本発明のデータ処理装置用自動倉庫は、データ処理装置
用の磁気テープを大量に保管しているテープ１次保管庫
と、データ処理装置側と前記磁気テープを授受するため
に設けられたテープ授受ステーションと、テープ１次保
管庫とテープ授受ステーションとの間を前記磁気テープ
を運搬する複数の無人車と、複数のピッキングロボット
を具備し、テープ１次保管庫と複数の無人車との前記磁
気テープの授受を行うテープ授受装置とからなるデータ
処理装置用自動倉庫であって、前記テープ授受ステーシ
ョンに設けられ、前記複数の無人車と前記磁気テープを
授受し一時保管するテープ２次保管庫を有する。
［作用］
無人車によってテープ１次保管庫からテープ授受ステー
ションに運搬されてくる磁気テープをテープ２次保管庫
が保管し、保管した磁気テープを必要な時にデータ処理
装置側に出庫するとともにデータ処理装置側で不要とな
った磁気テープは受け取って保管し、他の処理に影響の
ない最適な時に無人車によってテープ１次保管庫に返却
させる。

テープ１次保管庫１ｏには、データ処理装置の周辺装置
である、テープドライブ装置８１，８２，〜，８ｎにか
けられる大量の磁気テープが２０本入りコンテナに収納
され保管されている（ステップ１０１）。保管されてい
る磁気テープのうち必要なものが収納されているコンテ
ナが出庫（ステップ１０２）されてくると、ピッキング
ロボット２１，２２，〜．２５はコンテナより必要な磁
気テープを順次ビッキングし（ステップ１０３）、＝：
＋ンベア３０，３１， 〜，３９上に配置された５０本
入り２次保管庫用パケットに挿入する。挿入が完了する
と２次保管庫用パケットはコンベアから無人車４１，４
２，〜．４ｍに移される（ステップ１０４）。一方、ビ
ッキングされたコンテナは再びテープ１次保管庫の、も
との位置に戻される．２次保管庫用パケットが移された
無人車４１，４２，〜．４ｍは誘導線路４０に沿ってテ
ープ授受ステーション５０に移動する。

との位置に戻される．２次保管庫用パケットが移された
無人車４１，４２，〜．４ｍは誘導線路４０に沿ってテ
ープ授受ステーション５０に移動する。

パケットは受け渡し台５１を経て分配用無人車５２によ
り、複数のテープ２次保管庫７１，７２，７３．７４の
いずれかに収納される。テープ２次保管庫７１，７２，
７３．７４に保゜管（ステップ１０５）されたパケット
は必要な時がくると分配用無人車５２に移動され、分配
用無人車５２は分配用通路５３を進行して、コンベア９
１，９２，〜．９５のいずれかに渡す．コンベア９１，
９２，〜．９５に渡されたパケットはビッキングロポッ
ト２８の方に移動され、収納されている磁気テープはピ
ッキングロボット（ステップ１０６）によりテープドラ
イブ装置８１．．８２，〜．８ｎにかけられる（ステッ
プ１０７）。使用済みとなった磁気テープはピッキング
ロボット２８によりテープドライブ装置からはずされ、
パケットに入れられて（ステップ１０６）逆の経路を通
ってテープ２次保管庫に戻される（ステップ１０５），
戻されたパケットは好適な時刻に分配用無人車５２およ
び受け渡し台５１を介して運搬用の無人車４１，４２，
〜４ｍに渡され（ステップ１０４）、出庫次と逆の経路
でテープ１次保管庫に戻される（ステップ１０１〜１０
３）。
４２，〜，４ｍによって運搬されてきた２次保管庫用の
パケットは受け渡し台５１を経て分配用無人車５２によ
り、複数のテープ２次保管庫７１，７２，７３．７４の
いずれかに収納される。テープ２次保管庫７１，７２，
７３．７４に保゜管（ステップ１０５）されたパケット
は必要な時がくると分配用無人車５２に移動され、分配
用無人車５２は分配用通路５３を進行して、コンベア９
１，９２，〜．９５のいずれかに渡す．コンベア９１，
９２，〜．９５に渡されたパケットはビッキングロポッ
ト２８の方に移動され、収納されている磁気テープはピ
ッキングロボット（ステップ１０６）によりテープドラ
イブ装置８１．．８２，〜．８ｎにかけられる（ステッ
プ１０７）。使用済みとなった磁気テープはピッキング
ロボット２８によりテープドライブ装置からはずされ、
パケットに入れられて（ステップ１０６）逆の経路を通
ってテープ２次保管庫に戻される（ステップ１０５），
戻されたパケットは好適な時刻に分配用無人車５２およ
び受け渡し台５１を介して運搬用の無人車４１，４２，
〜４ｍに渡され（ステップ１０４）、出庫次と逆の経路
でテープ１次保管庫に戻される（ステップ１０１〜１０
３）。
本実施例において、テープ２次保管庫７１，７２．７３
．７４は垂直回転棚式となっている。

ている。使用済みのパケットが翌日にも使用される場合
は、パケットはテープ１次保管庫１０には戻されずテー
プ授受ステーション５０内に留め置かれる。
［発明の効果］
以上説明したような本発明は、テープ授受ステーション
に２次保管庫を設けてたことにより、データ処理装置側
の処理速度と必要な磁気テープを用意する保管庫側の処
理速度とのミスマッチングを解消し、データ処理を能率
よく実行できる効果がある。

- 【特許請求の範囲】 １、データ処理装置用の磁気テープを大量に保管してい
るテープ１次保管庫と、データ処理装置側と前記磁気テ
ープを授受するために設けられたテープ授受ステーショ
ンと、テープ１次保管庫とテープ授受ステーションとの
間を前記磁気テープを運搬する複数の無人車と、複数の
ピッキングロボットを具備し、テープ１次保管庫と複数
の無人車との前記磁気テープの授受を行うテープ授受装
置とからなるデータ処理装置用自動倉庫であって、 前記テープ授受ステーションに設けられ、前記複数の無
人車と前記磁気テープを授受し一時保管するテープ２次
保管庫を有することを特徴とするデータ処理装置用自動
倉庫。
