Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 この発明は押出しチユーブの胴部と肩部との溶
着方法に関し、さらに詳しくは超音波溶着による
溶着方法に関するものである。
従来の技術 従来、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン等からな
る多層チユーブ或いは内部にアルミニウム箔、紙
等を有するラミネートチユーブを製造する場合に
おける胴部と肩部との溶着方法は、射出成形法、
高周波溶着法或いはレザー光線による溶着方法等
が知られている。
しかしながら、これらの溶着方法は大規模な機
械設備が必要であり、かつ機械自体が複雑である
という欠点があつた。また胴部と肩部の接合部を
完全に溶着することは非常に困難であり、その
上、溶着時の熱により樹脂が黒変し外観上肩部の
美感を損ねる欠点があつた。
そこで、このような不都合を解消するために開
発された胴部と肩部との溶着方法として超音波振
動による溶着方法がある。この超音波振動による
溶着法の利点は、溶着時間が短くかつ樹脂の劣化
を起こさないで均一で強力な接合力が得られる点
である。
超音波溶着法の従来技術としては、例えば第5
図および第6図に示すようなものがある。図中、
50はチユーブ容器の口部と肩部とから構成され
る笠体であり、この笠体50の肩部51下端には
肩部溶着代51aが形成されている。そして、胴
部52の内径と略同径の外形を有する円柱形状の
受け治具53の外周には胴部52が嵌合され、胴
部52の上端には胴部溶着端部52aが形成さ
れ、この胴部溶着端部52aは受け治具53の上
縁からやや上方に突出されている。次にこの突出
した部分の内側の受け治具53上の縁部に笠体5
0を着座し、その後、肩部51の外形をした工具
ホーン54を肩部51上に下降させて加圧し、胴
部溶着端部52aを肩部溶着代51aに折り重ね
ると共にこの重ね部分に超音波振動を加えて胴部
と肩部とを溶着するものである。
発明が解決しようとする問題点 しかしながら、このような従来の発明にあつて
は、胴部溶着端部52aが肩部溶着代51aの上
側に被つて溶着されるため、胴部52と肩部51
との継ぎ目が肩部51の表面に現れて肩部51の
美感が失われる欠点があつた。特に、アルミニウ
ム箔を内装したラミネートの胴部である場合に
は、超音波振動による摩擦熱のための胴部溶着端
部52aの上端断面のアルミニウム箔が外方に露
出し肩部51の美感が著しく損なわれる欠点があ
つた。
この発明はこのような従来の問題点に着目して
なされたもので、胴部と肩部との継ぎ目が肩部表
面に露出するのを防止することにより、チユーブ
容器の肩部の外観を美しくするとともに胴部と肩
部との接合強度を増加した超音波溶着方法を提供
することを目的としている。
問題を解決するための手段 この目的は達成するために、この発明は、押出
しチユーブの胴部を胴部支持体内に挿入して支持
し、胴部先端に加熱したプレス工具を下降して該
胴部先端を胴部内側に湾曲し、次に肩部の下端に

を該上部溶着代と下部溶着代とで前記胴部先端を
挟むようにして胴部先端上に着座させ、その後前

ンを胴部内側から上昇させて該受け治具と工具ホ
ーンとで前記胴部および肩部を堅固に挟着し、工
具ホーンを超音波振動させて前記下部溶着代、胴
部先端および上部溶着代をそれぞれ超音波溶着し
たことを特徴とする押出しチユーブの胴部と肩部
の溶着方法であり、また、前記下部溶着代の肉厚
は薄肉に形成され、かつ前記胴部の内側から胴部
先端に溶着されることを特徴としている。
作用 以上のような構成をもつたこの発明によれば、
工具ホーンを胴部内側から上昇させて下部溶着代
に当接させ、その後に工具ホーンから超音波振動
を加えるものであるから、薄い肉厚の下部溶着代
と胴部先端との間に超音波振動が強力に伝達し、
局部的に摩擦熱が発生し、相互の接触面は溶融し
下部溶着代と胴部先端は溶着される。また工具ホ
ーンからの超音波振動は胴部先端と上部溶着代と
の間の接触面にも局部的に摩擦熱を発生させるの
で、相互の接触面が溶融し胴部先端と上部溶着代
は溶着される。
実施例 次に、この発明を図面に基づいて説明す。
第1図〜第4図はこの発明の一実施例を示す図
面である。
第1図中、1は押出しチユーブの胴部であり、
この胴部1は胴部支持体2に上方から挿入されこ
の胴部支持体2によつて外側からガイドされてい
る。そして、胴部1の先端である胴部先端部1a
の外周には肩部4の上部溶着代5が適宜に嵌合す
るように切欠部1bが形成されている。また、胴
部支持体2はターンテーブル10の周縁部に等間
隔をおいて複数個溶接またはボルト締め等の方法
で固設されており(図示ぜず)、このターンテー
ブル10は胴部支持体2の内径と同径の穴10a
が開けられている。さらに、このターンテーブル
10の下側には胴部1を下方から支持する支持板
10bが設けられ、ターンテーブル10はこの固
定された支持板10b上を回転自在に移動するも
のである。胴部支持体2に挿入された胴部1の胴
部先端1aには、下方に湾曲面を有する約100℃
に加熱されたプレス工具3が下降して約2〜3秒
間胴部先端1aに接触し加圧する。加圧された胴
部先端1aはプレス工具3の湾曲部に沿つて胴部
1の内側に湾曲する。プレス工具3が上昇した
後、ターンテーブル10が回転し次の工程へと進
む。
第3図は胴部先端1aに口部と肩部とから構成
される笠体7を着座する工程である肩部4の下端
には上部溶着代5と下部溶着代6の二股形状に分
岐され、下部溶着代6の肉厚は薄肉に形成されて
いる。そして、笠体7は吸引装置11に穿設され
た吸引孔11aによつて吸引され吸引装置11に
固定された後、吸引装置11の下降とともに湾曲
された胴部先端1a上に載置される。このとき、
胴部先端1aが上部溶着代5と下部溶着代6とで
挟着された状態で載置される。吸引装置11が上
昇した後、ターンテーブル10が回転し次の工程
へと進む。
第4図は超音波振動による溶着工程を示したも
のである。図中、8は受け治具であり、受け治具
8には笠体7の肩部4の外径をなした雌型が形成
され、下降して笠体7の肩部4を固定する。次に
胴部1内側から工具ホーン9が上昇し、この工具
ホーン9が肩部4の下部溶着代6に当接し、下部
溶着代6、胴部先端1aおよび上部溶着代5は受
け治具8と工具ホーン9とで堅固に挟着される。
なお、支持板10bには工具ホーン9が上昇可能
なように穴10cが穿設されている。更に、工具
ホーン9を超音波振動させて下部溶着代6、胴部
先端1aおよび上部溶着代5に縦方向の振動を加
え、それぞれ接触面に摩擦熱を発生させて胴部1
と肩部4とを溶着するものである。溶着が終了
後、ターンテーブル10は次の工程へと回転す
る。溶着が終了した胴部1は胴部支持体2から引
き抜かれる。
発明の効果 以上説明してきたように、この発明によれば従
来の超音波溶着とは異なり、胴部内側下方から工
具ホーンを上昇させて、肩部の内側で下部溶着代
と胴部先端とが溶着されるので、胴部と肩部との
溶着による継ぎ目が肩部の表面に現れず、肩部の
外観を美しく仕上げることができる。また、肩部
の下部溶着代は薄い肉厚に形成されているから、
超音波振動が接着面に直接伝達され胴部と肩部の
接合強度が増大する効果がある。

図は従来の超音波振動による溶着方法を示した図
面であり、第5図は受け治具で支持された笠体に
工具ホーンが下降する状態を示した一部切欠断面
図、第6図は溶着状態を示した一部切欠断面図で

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 押出しチユーブの胴部を胴部支持体内に挿入
    して支持し、胴部先端に加熱したプレス工具を下
    降して該胴部先端を胴部内側に湾曲し、次に肩部
    の下端に二股状の上部溶着代と下部溶着代とを有
    する笠体を該上部溶着代と下部溶着代とで前記胴
    部先端を挟むようにして胴部先端上に着座させ、
    その後前記肩部に受け治具を下降させると共に工
    具ホーンを胴部内側から上昇させて該受け治具と
    工具ホーンとで前記胴部および肩部を堅固に挟着
    し、工具ホーンを超音波振動させて前記下部溶着
    代、胴部先端および上部溶着代をそれぞれ超音波
    溶着したことを特徴とする押出しチユーブの胴部
    と肩部の溶着方法。 2 前記下部溶着代の肉厚は薄肉に形成され、か
    つ前記胴部の内側から胴部先端に溶着されること
    を特徴とする特許請求の範囲第1項記載の溶着方
    法。
