Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 （産業上の利用分野） この発明は１例えば、自動車用モーター等に組み込まれ
て高温雰囲気での使用に際しても減磁しないＰｅ　−Ｂ
　−Ｒ系永久磁石に係り、　Ｍｏ、　Ａｔ！、　Ｃｕを
必須元素として、　ＤＹやＴｂの稀少かつ高価な重希土
類を必須とせず、高い最大エネルギー積を維持しかつ高
保磁力を有し１合金粉末性ならびに耐食性にすぐれた永
久磁石に関する。
（従来の技術） 永久磁石材料は一般家庭の各種電気製品から。
自動車や通信器部品、大型コンピューターの周辺端末機
まで２幅広い分野で使われる極めて重要な電気・電子材
料の一つである。
近年の電気・電子機器の高性能化・小型化の要求に伴い
、永久磁石もまた高性能化が求められている。従来はこ
のような要求に答える永久磁石として希土類コバルト磁
石が知られていたが、希土類コバルト磁石は希土類とし
て、希土類鉱石中にあまり含まれておらず、高価なＳｍ
を多量に必要とし、またＣＯを５０〜６０ｖｔ％も必要
としていた。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １）希土類Ｒ１２ａｔ％〜１８ａｔ％、 但し、ＲはＰｒ、Ｎｄ、Ｄｙ、Ｔｂおよび不純物として
    含まれる他の希土類であり ０．８≦（Ｐｒ＋Ｎｄ＋Ｄｙ＋Ｔｂ）／Ｒ≦１．０（但
    しＲはＰｒ、Ｎｄの一種以上のみの場合を含む）、Ｂ　
    ５ａｔ％〜９．５ａｔ％、Ｍｏ　２ａｔ％〜５ａｔ％、
    Ｃｕ　０．０１ａｔ％〜０．５ａｔ％、Ａｌ　０．１ａ
    ｔ％〜３ａｔ％、残部実質的にＦｅからなる永久磁石。 ２）ＢとＭｏとの量比がａｔ％でＢをｘ、Ｍｏをｙとし
    たとき、 （ｘ−４．５）≦ｙ≦（ｘ−３．０） の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項１記載の永久磁石
    。 ３）Ｆｅの一部をＣｏで置換し、Ｃｏ３ａｔ％〜７ａｔ
    ％含有されることを特徴とする請求項１又は請求項２記
    載の永久磁石。 ４）Ｍｏのうち９０％以下をＶで置換したことを特徴と
    する請求項１、請求項２又は請求項３記載の永久磁石。 ５）合金粉末を、磁界中で加圧、成形し、焼結して得ら
    れた焼結体であることを特徴とする請求項１、請求項２
    、請求項３又は請求項４記載の永久磁石。
