Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 骨折した、ないしは砕けた骨の部分を、治療過程におい
て、あるいはまたそれ以上の期間にわたって、それらが
金主されるべき、ないしは固定されるべき位置に保持す
るためには、固定部材が役立つ。
その部材は、複数の楕円形の穴が設けられた棒状部材か
らなる。棒状部材を骨の所望の形状に適合させるために
、それらの楕円形の穴の間には、低減された断面を有す
る部分が設けられ得る。棒状部材は、ネジを骨の中に捩
込むことによって、その骨に固定される。その際、骨は
形状が不規則であり、かつ棒状部材に対して垂直な方向
において十分な断面を有することは極めてまれであるの
で、ネジを棒状部材に対して垂直にネジ止めすることは
、はとんど不可能であるという問題が生じる。
骨が最も大きな断面を有する方向にネジを差込むと、ネ
ジ頭部の片側のみが棒状部材の楕円形の穴に載置され、
ネジ頭部と棒状部材との間は十分に固定されない。
したがって、この発明の課題は、極めて不規則な形状の
骨であっても十分な固定を可能にする、骨用固定部材を
提供することである。
この課題は請求項１において解決される。
従属クレームは、この発明のさらなる実施例をその対象
とする。
図において、第１図は、この発明によるスペーサーと結
合されたネジが挿入された、棒状部材の平面図および側
面図を示す。
第２図には、ネジと、スペーサーの一実施例が示される
。
第３図ないし第５図は、動椎を固定する固定部材を示す
。
第６図ないし第８図は、スペーサー７のさらなる実施例
を示し、第６図は分解された固定部材の断面図を、第７
図は組立てられた部材の断面図を、第８図は第７図の平
面図を示す。
第１図に示された棒状部材１は、−列に並んだ楕円形の
穴２ないし２ｎを有する。棒状部材１はそれらの穴の間
に、低減された断面を有する、列に並んだ部分３ないし
３ｎ−１を有し得、それによって骨の形状への棒状部材
の適合が可能となる（第３図参照）。
挿入されるべき各ネジにはスペーサー７が与えられ、所
望の位置において、棒状部材１の骨に向合わない側に載
置され、ネジ４を受ける働きをする。スペーサーは穴１
１を有するが、ネジの軸が可能な限り大きな角度で旋回
し得るように、その穴１１は挿入されるべきネジの軸よ
りも大きい。
しかしながらその大きさは、ネジの頭部がその中におい
てしっかりと保持される程度のものである。
スペーサー７は、その棒状部材１に向合わない側の表面
に、穴１１と同心円状の球欠形のくぼみ８を有する。
第２図において個々に示されたネジ４は、その頭部５の
下方面に球欠形の部分６を有し、その部分によって、ス
ペーサー７の球欠形に形成されたくぼみ８に嵌合する。
（ぼみ８および部分６の半径は互いに一致する。それに
よって、第１図の下方に示されたように、空間的におよ
そ±２０度までの角度でネジ４を骨組織内へ捩込むこと
が可能となる。しかしながら、スペーサー７上のネジ頭
部５はこのスペーサー７を介して棒状部材１上にその全
体が十分に載置されており、これによって、実質的に改
善された固定が行われる。
この発明のさらなる実施例によると、棒状部材１に対す
るネジ４の位置は、スペーサー７の下方面および棒状部
材１の上方面に、ある構造を与えることによって保証さ
れる。第１図に示されたように、この構造は棒状部材１
の長手方向に垂直な波形起伏９として形成され得る。
これによって、ネジが閉められた後のスペーサー７およ
びネジ４の移動が確実に妨げられる。
第１図の中央部分には、必要な場合にはネジの楕円形穴
２内における変位が可能であることが示唆されている。
第３図ないし第５図には、劾椎１０に取付けられた状態
の、この発明の一実施例が示される。
第３図には、動椎１０の形状に適合させるために、低減
された断面を有する部分３．３′などにおいて曲げられ
た棒状部材１が示される。
第４図は、棒状部材が真直ぐな、一実施例を示す。
第５図は、この発明による部材によって右側および左側
が各々固定された動椎１０の断面を示す。
第６図ないし第８図には、スペーサー７のその他の考え
られ得る形状が示される。
スペーサー７の外部は棒状部材１の長手方向側面におい
てこれらを越えて突出し、かつ棒状部材１をその両面に
おいて把持する肩部１２が設けられる。これによって、
スペーサー７は棒状部材１上にさらにしっかりと固定さ
れ、同時に、固定する際にスペーサーが側面方向におい
て変位するのを妨げるので、その操作手順が容易となる
。

Claims (10)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. （１）楕円形の穴（２−２＾ｎ）を有し、それらの楕円
    形の穴を介して突出するネジ（４）の補助によって、固
    定されるべき骨の部分（１０）に固定される棒状部材（
    １）からなる、骨用固定部材であって、 一方の側が棒状部材（１）上にぴったりと載置され、他
    方の側には球欠形の凹型くぼみ（８）が設けられ、その
    くぼみには、ネジ頭部（５）の球欠形に形成された凸型
    下方面（６）が嵌合する、スペーサーを特徴とする、固
    定部材。
  2. （２）棒状部材（１）およびスペーサー（７）の相対す
    る側に各々ある構造（９）が設けられることを特徴とす
    る、請求項１に記載の、固定部材。
  3. （３）前記構造が、棒状部材（１）の長手方向に対して
    垂直に伸びる波形起伏（９）からなることを特徴とする
    、請求項２に記載の、固定部材。
  4. （４）棒状部材（１）が、低減された断面を有する部分
    （３−３＾ｎ＾−＾１）を間隔をおいて有することを特
    徴とする、請求項１に記載の、固定部材。
  5. （５）スペーサー（７）が２つの隣接した球形のくぼみ
    を有することを特徴とする、請求項１に記載の、固定部
    材。
  6. （６）スペーサー（７）が長方形の外部を有することを
    特徴とする、請求項１に記載の、固定部材。
  7. （７）スペーサー（７）が丸い外部を有するることを特
    徴とする、請求項１に記載の、固定部材。
  8. （８）棒状部材（１）の楕円形の穴（２−２＾ｎ）の骨
    （１０）に向けられた側に、傾斜面が設けられることを
    特徴とする、請求項１に記載の、固定部材。
  9. （９）棒状部材（１）の長手方向側面を越えて伸び、か
    つ棒状部材（１）をその両面において把持する肩部（１
    ２）が設けられた外部を、スペーサー（７）が有するこ
    とを特徴とする、請求項１に記載の、固定部材。
  10. （１０）スペーサー（７）の、棒状部材に向けられた側
    には傾斜面が設けられ、かつその反対側には丸みが付け
    られることを特徴とする、請求項９に記載の、固定部材
    。
