Claims (9)
- 1.懸濁液中の粒子からなり、該粒子に対してフィブリノーゲン及びブドウ球菌 のプロテインAによる親和性によって認識された抗体が結合しているタイプの、 凝集による黄色ブドゥ球菌の検出用試薬であって、懸濁液中に粒子を含み、該粒 子に対して黄色ブドウ球菌の莢膜多糖を特異的に認識する少なくとも一つの抗体 が結合していることを特徴とする試薬。
- 2.黄色ブドウ球菌の莢膜多糖を認識する抗体は、タイプ5又は8の莢膜多糖を 認識する抗体であることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の試薬。
- 3.黄色ブドウ球菌の莢膜多糖を認識する抗体は、タイプ5の莢膜多糖を認識す る抗体であると同時にタイプ8の莢膜多糖を認識する抗体であることを特徴とす る、請求項2記載の試薬。
- 4.黄色ブドウ球菌の莢膜多糖を認識する抗体は、異なる種類の莢膜多糖を認識 する抗体の組み合わせからなることを特徴とする、請求項3記載の試薬。
- 5.懸濁液中の粒子はラテックス粒子であることを特徴とする、請求項1から4 の何れか一つに記載の試薬。
- 6.粒子は2マイクロメートルより小さな寸法を有することを特徴とする、請求 項1から5の何れか一つに記載の試薬。
- 7.懸濁液中の粒子は磁気ゲルであることを特徴とする、請求項1から4の何れ か一つに記載の試薬。
- 8.サンプル中の黄色ブドウ球菌を凝集によって検出するための方法であって、 試験するサンプルを請求項1から7の何れか一つに記載の試薬と混合し、凝集が 生ずるか否かを観察することからなることを特徴とする方法。
- 9.サンプルは血液培地のサンプルである、請求項8記載の方法。
