Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、シロキサン類からなっておりそして一１４０
℃までの低温における使用に適している冷凍油に関する
ものである。
２０℃で測定して５〜２０ｍｍ”／秒の範囲の粘度を有
する油を与える冷凍混合物用にシリコーン油を使用でき
ることは知られているいＶ、シムラー（Ｓｉｍｍｌｅｒ
）、ｒＧ−ｒ−Ｔ−ファヒツ！イトシュリフト・フユル
・ダス・ラポラトリウム（Ｇ−１−Ｔ　Ｆａｃｈｚｅｉ
ｔｓｃｈｒｉｆｔ　ｆｔ１ｒ　ｄａｓ　Ｌａｂｏｒａｔ
ｏｒｉｕｔｃ）Ｊ、６．１０１．１８９．２７８−１９
６２−）、この用途は性質上静的であるため、粘度が低
温において比較的高いことは重要ではない。
一方では機械回路自体を冷凍する冷媒（八日炭素および
ハロゲン化された炭イヒ水素化合物類、例ｔｌｆＲ”、
Ｒ１！、Ｒ”８よびＲｓｏ”）　カコレマテに低温にお
ける低粘度冷媒として使用されてきており、他方では温
度範囲によってアルコール類（メタノール、エチレンお
よびプロピレングリコール）並びｌこ塩類（塩化カルシ
ウム、ソーダなど）の水溶液が使用されている。これら
の冷媒の欠点はよく知られている。それらの低い引火点
のために、低級アルコール類では安全上の注意が必要で
あり、しかもある場合には有毒でもある。塩水溶液は非
常に腐食性でありそして低温における過度の粘度を有し
ている。最後に、ハロ炭素およびハロゲン化された炭化
水素化合物はオゾン層の光化学的減成に部分的に寄与し
ており、そしである場合には有毒でもある。従って、例
えば日本特許用１１１５０／４５３５００中に記されて
いるようなシリコーン油とハロ炭素およびハロゲン化さ
れた炭化水素との混合物はあまり妥当ではない。
上記の欠点が本発明に従う冷媒では回避される。
本発明に従う冷媒は塩類、アルコール類、Ｉ＼ロゲン化
された炭化水素類およびハロ炭素類を含んでおらずしか
も低温における低粘度を有する冷凍油であり、それらの
特徴はそれらかへキサメチルジシロキサンおよび／また
はオクタメチルトリシロキサンおよび／または線状デカ
メチルテトラシロキサンおよび／またはオクタメチルシ
クロテトラシロキサンおよび／またはデカメチルシクロ
ペンタシロキサンの混合物からなっていることである。
簡単にするために、例えばＷ、ノル（Ｎｏｌｌ）、シリ
コーン類の化学および技術（Ｃｈｅｍｉｅ　ｕｎｄ　Ｔ
ｅｃｈｎ。

以下（１９６８）中に記されている如きシリコーン類の
命名法を下記では使用する。従って、線状シロキサン類
であるオクタメチルトリシロキサンおよびデカメチルテ
トラシロキサンはそれぞれＭ、ＤおよびＭ、Ｄ、と略さ
れ、一方対応する高級同族体類は一般的にＭ　２　Ｄ　
ｎと略される。環式シロキサン類であるオクタメチルシ
クロテトラシロキサンおよびデカメチルシクロペンタシ
ロキサンはそれぞれＤ４およびり、と略され、一方高級
同族体類はＤいり、などと略される。
これらの短鎖および環式シロキサン類は例えば、Ｍ！（
ヘキサメチルジシロキサン）とジメチルジクロロシラン
の加水分解により生成したシリコーン油（Ａ−油）との
ｌ：１の重量比での酸性平衡化反応により得られ、例え
ば酸−活性化された漂白土の如き酸性イオン交換体が一
般的に使用される。この型の反応生成物を濾過による触
媒の除去後に加熱する場合には、例えばバシロンーエー
ルＭ、（レーベルクーゼンのバイエルＡｇのＭ品）の如
き低粘度シロキサン混合物が得られる。ＧＣ分析による
特性および対応する沸点のリストを表１に示す。この型
の生成物混合物を分別蒸留にかけると、個々のシロキサ
ン類を互いに分離でき、或いは本発明に従う希望する特
許請求の範囲のシロキサン混合物を対応する蒸留留分に
より得ることもできる。
これらの分離しているシロキサン類の中では、まずＭ、
Ｄ２が冷凍油としての最良の特性データを有する生成物
であることが明白であり、その理由はそれが一４０℃に
おける低い粘度および５５℃以上の引火点を有するから
である。この引火点のために、Ｍ、Ｄ２は関連規則の下
ではもはや「可燃性」と分類されず、そのためにめんど
うな安全上の注意を払わなくてもよい。しかしながら、
純粋なＭ、Ｄ、は−７６℃の結晶化点（表２参照）を有
しており、それにより冷凍媒体としてのそれの使用が大
きく制限されている。
驚くべきことに、Ｍ２Ｄおよび／またはり、および／ま
たはり、の添加によりＭ、Ｄよの流動点または固化点が
大きく下がることを今見いだした。２０重量％までの割
合では、Ｍ　ｔ　Ｄ　！　／　Ｍ　！　Ｄの混合物は一
４０°Ｃにおける低粘度および５５℃以上の引火点を有
する系を与える。ざらにＭ２ＤまたはＭ！を加えるなら
、粘度および固化／流動点は引火点と同様に下がるが、
これは高度冷却の特殊な工業的用途にとって興味がもた
れるであろう。固化点（ＤＩＮ　　５１　５５６に従う
）は−船釣には関連シタ流動点（ＤＩＮ　　１５０　３
０１６に従う）より３〜５℃低い。
Ｍ、および／または環式シロキサン類Ｄ４および／また
はり、をＭ　ｘ　Ｄ　！またはＭ　２　Ｄ　、とＭ、Ｄ
との混合物に加えるなら、分離および低温における結晶
化による曇りを避けるために、添加量はり、の場合には
３０重量％を越えてはならずモしてり、の場合には５０
重量％を越えてはならない。Ｄ、は好適に１よ５〜１５
重量％の量でそしてり、は５〜２０重量％の量で加えら
れ、Ｄ、の方がり、より流動点および同化点を下げる際
の効果の程度が優れている。表２および３の実施例中に
示されているように、本発明に従い一４０℃における粘
度が１０ｍｍ”／秒以下にそして好適にはできるだけ低
くなりしかも引火点が４３℃以上そして好適には５５℃
以上になるような方法でシロキサン類が混合される。
Ｍ、およびそれより高級なＭＩＤｎ型の対応する統計学
的混合物（表４の実施例）を特許請求の範囲に記されて
いる分離したシロキサン類の代わりに使用する場合には
、粘度は増加しそして引火点が下がるため、このような
ものは−船釣に品質面で劣っている。しかしながら、低
い引火点が重要因子でないような特殊な用途では、実施
例１７〜１９中に示されているように非常に狭い分布を
有する統計学的混合物でも有利である。この場合、引火
点を２１　’Ｏ以下には下げずにＭ、をシロキサン類Ｍ
、ＤおよびＭ、Ｄ、およびＤ４および／またはり、の混
合物に２３１量％までの濃度で加えることができる。こ
のような混合物は「可燃性」と分類されるであろうが、
「易可燃性」物質または混合物（引火点２１’Ｏ以下）
と同じような安全上の注意は必要ないであろう。
このようにして製造された冷凍油は一１４０°Ｃまでの
温度の冷凍用に使用できる。従って、この冷凍油は好適
には低温貯蔵、高凍結装置冷凍庫用に好適に使用される
が、土壌探査針用並びに熟ポンプに関連している他の加
熱、／冷凍液体やこれまでに公知のように熱ポンプの蒸
発器側の熱除去後にかなり冷却することのできる他の加
熱／冷凍液体用にも使用される。今までは水とエチレン
グリコールの混合物から製造されているこれらのいわゆ
る食塩水系は低温に達することはない。
本発明に従う冷凍の油は、非腐食性でありしかも毒性的
に安全であるというこの種の用途の利点を有する。一方
では実施例５中の如＜　Ｍ　２　Ｄ　２およびり、の混
合物は一１３０℃を越えると固体集合状態においてのみ
変化が起きるが他方ではそれの個々の成分は通常の条件
下では１９４℃および２１Ｏ°Ｃという高い沸点を有し
ているため、例えば広範囲の温度に遭遇する気候下での
自動車の冷却液または変圧器油などの極端な温度負荷が
かかる用途も考えられる。
本発明に従うシロキサン混合物は起こりうる漏出を表示
するために着色できる。例えば、０．０１重量％の量の
下記のアントラキノン染料を室温で撹拌しながら加える
ことができる：アントラキノン、ｌ−アミノアントラキ
ノン、１．４−ビス−イソブチルアミノアントラキノン
、１−（３−ジメチルアミノプロピルアミノ）−４−メ
チルアミノアントラキノン、１−（４−メチルフェニル
アミノ）−アントラキノン、１．４−ビス−（２，６−
ダニチル−４−メチルフェニルアミノ）−アントラキノ
ン、１．４−ビス−（４−ターシャリーープチルフェニ
ルアミノ）−アントラキノン、■−メチルアミノー４−
（３−メチルフェニルアミノ）−アントラキノン、１−
メチルアミノ−４−（４−メチルフェニルアミノ）−ア
ントラキノン、１−（３−ジメチルアミノプロピルアミ
ノ）−４−（４メチルフエニルアミノ）−アントラキノ
ン。
その他に、約０．００２重量％までの量の下記の天然染
料も着色用に使用できる：セレスロット７Ｂ１セレスゲ
ルブＣＲＮ、コキニール、セレスブラウＧＮ。
表２および３の実施例は本発明を説明するためのもので
ある。さらに、表２は関連純粋物質の特性データも示し
ている。表４のシロキサン類は統計学的なシロキサン類
の混合物であり、そしてそれらは本発明に従う特許請求
の範囲に記されている分離したシロキサン類の対応する
混合物より高い低温における粘度または低い引火点を示
している。
本発明の主なる特徴および態様は以下のとおりである。
１、ヘキサメチルジシロキサン、オクタメチルトリシロ
キサン、線状デカメチルテトラシロキサン、オクタメチ
ルシクロテトラシロキサンおよびデカメチルシクロペン
タシロキサンからなる群から選択された少なくとも２負
の混合物から本質的になっており、塩類１、アルコール
類、・・＼・ロゲン化されｔ；炭化水素類およびハロ炭
素類を含んでおらずしかも低温における低粘度を有する
、−１４０℃程度の低温を生じる冷凍装置中で有用な冷
凍油。
２、混合物の一戊分が０．１重量％〜２３重量％の量の
ヘキサメチルジシロキサンである、上記ｌの冷凍油。
３、ヘキサメチルジシロキサンの量か５〜・２０重量％
である、上記２の冷凍油。
４、混合物の一成分が０．１重量％〜９９．９重量％の
量のオクタメチルトリシロキサンである、上記ｌの冷凍
油。
５、オクタメチルトリシロキサ〉・の量が５〜２０重量
％である、上記４の冷凍油。
６．５〜２０重量％のヘキサメチルジシロキサンを含有
している、上記４の冷凍油。
７、混合物の一成分が０．１重量％〜９９．９重量％の
量の線状デカメチルテトラシロキサンである、上記１の
冷凍油。
８、線状デカメチルテトラシロキサンの量が５〜９５重
量％である、上記７の冷凍油。
９、それぞれ５〜２０重量％のへキサメチルジシロキサ
ンおよびオクタメチルトリシロキサンのうちの少なくと
も一種を含有している、上記８の冷凍油。
ＩＯ０混合物の一戊分が０〜３０重量％の量のオクタメ
チルシクロテトラシロキサンである、上記１の冷凍油。
１１、オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサンの量が５〜
１５瓜量％である、上記１０の冷凍油。
１２、それぞれ５〜２０重量％のヘキサメチルジシロキ
サンおよびオクタメチルＩ・リシロキサ／のうちの少な
くとも一種を含有している、上記ｉ１の冷凍油。
１３、混合物の一成分が０〜５０重量％の量のデカメチ
ルシクロペンタシロキサンである、上記ｌの冷凍油。
１４、デカメチルシクロペンタシロキサンの量が５〜２
０重量％である、上記１３の冷凍油。
１５、それぞれ５〜２０重量％のへキサメチルジシロキ
サンおよびオクタメチルトリシロキサンのうちの少なく
とも一種を含有している、上記１４の冷凍油。
１６、ヘキサメチルジシロキサンと加水分解へ油との平
衡化により短鎖α、ω−ビス−（トリメチルシロキシ）
−ジメチルシロキサン類と環式ジメチルシロキサン類と
の混合物中のヘキサメチルジシロキサンを得て、モして
ヘキサメチルジシロキサンを混合物から蒸留により部分
的に除去し、そして生成したシロキサン混合物を分別蒸
留にかける、上記１の冷凍油の製造方法。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 １、ヘキサメチルジシロキサン、オクタメチルトリシロ
    キサン、線状デカメチルテトラシロキサン、オクタメチ
    ルシクロテトラシロキサンおよびデカメチルシクロペン
    タシロキサンからなる群から選択された少なくとも２員
    の混合物から本質的になっており、塩類、アルコール類
    、ハロゲン化された炭化水素類およびハロ炭素類を含ん
    でおらずしかも低温における低粘度を有する、−１４０
    ℃程度の低温を生じる冷凍装置中で有用な冷凍油。 ２、混合物の一成分が０．１重量％〜９９．９重量％の
    量の線状デカメチルテトラシロキサンである、特許請求
    の範囲第１項記載の冷凍油。 ３、線状デカメチルテトラシロキサンの量が５〜９５重
    量％である、特許請求の範囲第２項記載の冷凍油。
