Claims (5)
- 円周方向の三カ所に継手軸方向に延びるトラック溝を備え、各トラック溝が継手円周方向に対向して配置された一対のローラ案内面を有する外側継手部材と、
中心孔を有する胴部と、当該胴部の半径方向に突出した三つの脚軸と、前記胴部と脚軸の間に位置し、前記脚軸の軸線を含む断面が曲線状をなす中間部とを備え、鋼材で形成されたトリポード部材と、
前記各脚軸に装着されるローラと、
前記脚軸に外嵌され、前記ローラを回転自在に支持するインナリングとを有し、
前記ローラが前記ローラ案内面に沿って前記外側継手部材の軸方向に移動可能であり、
前記ローラと前記インナリングが、前記脚軸に対して揺動可能のローラユニットを構成し、
前記トリポード部材の芯部における炭素含有量を0.23~0.44%とし、
前記脚軸の表面に、浸炭層の硬化層が設けられたトリポード型等速自在継手において、
前記トリポード部材の中間部に、前記脚軸の軸線を含む、継手軸方向と直交する方向の断面で曲率半径Raを有する第1領域と、前記脚軸の軸線を含む、継手軸方向の断面で曲率半径Rbを有する第2領域とを設け、かつRa>Rbとし、
前記中間部の第1領域と前記脚軸の間に、前記第1領域から脚軸半径方向に縮径して前記脚軸の外周面につながる段差Zが設けられ、
前記外側継手部材のローラ案内面のピッチ円直径をPCDとして、0.085≦Ra/PCD≦0.20としたことを特徴とするトリポード型等速自在継手。 - 前記第1領域と、前記第2領域との間に、両領域と滑らかにつながる接続領域Sを設けた請求項1に記載のトリポード型等速自在継手。
- 前記トリポード部材の胴部の内周面に形成されたスプラインの大径部から前記第1領域までの最小距離をtとして、t/PCD≧0.145にした請求項1に記載のトリポード型等速自在継手。
- 前記トリポード部材の脚軸の表面硬度が、653HV以上である請求項1~3の何れか1項に記載のトリポード型等速自在継手。
- 前記トリポード部材の内部硬度が、513HV以上である請求項1~4の何れか1項に記載のトリポード型等速自在継手。
