Description
下記特許文献1には、バッテリを冷却する第1の冷却水流路と、モータジェネレータ及びインバータを冷却する第2の冷却水流路と、を備え、外気温又はバッテリ水温に応じて、第1の冷却水流路と、第2の冷却水流路とを接続または分離する冷却水流路が開示されている。
(1):この発明の一態様に係る温調装置は、単一のポンプを用いて、熱媒体を循環させる温調回路と、前記熱媒体の温度を測定する第1温度センサと、前記温調回路に熱的に接続されたバッテリと、前記バッテリの温度を測定する第2温度センサと、前記温調回路に熱的に接続された発熱機器と、前記ポンプの下流側の前記温調回路の流路を切り替えて、前記ポンプ、前記バッテリ、前記発熱機器の順に前記熱媒体を循環させる第1温調回路と、前記ポンプ、前記発熱機器、前記バッテリの順に前記熱媒体を循環させる第2温調回路と、を形成する流路切替装置と、前記第1温度センサ及び前記第2温度センサの測定結果に基づいて、前記流路切替装置を制御し、前記温調回路を、前記第1温調回路または前記第2温調回路に切り替させる制御装置と、を備える。
温調装置1は、図示しない車両に搭載されている。当該車両は、例えば、駆動源としてモータのみを有する電気自動車であってもよく、モータ及び内燃機関を有するハイブリッド自動車でもよい。
図2に示すように、温調装置1は、上述した複数の温度センサ30,31、開閉装置13、及び流路切替装置40と電気的に接続されると共に、上述したバッテリ20及び発熱機器(駆動装置21、充電装置22)と電気的に接続された制御装置50を備える。
図3に示すように、第1温調回路10Aとは、ポンプ12から送り出された熱媒体が、バッテリ20、充電装置22、駆動装置21の順に供給された後、ラジエータ11に戻る回路をいう。
図4に示すように、第2温調回路10Bとは、ポンプ12から送り出された熱媒体が、充電装置22、駆動装置21、バッテリ20の順に供給された後、ラジエータ11に戻る回路をいう。
図5に示すように、制御装置50は、温度センサ30(バッテリ20の入口の熱媒体の温度)の測定結果(TW)が40℃未満、且つ、温度センサ31(バッテリ20自体の温度)の測定結果(Tbatt)が40℃未満の場合、流路切替装置40を制御し、温調回路10を第1温調回路10Aとする。このとき、ラジエータ11の開閉装置13(ASG)を閉状態(CLOSE)とする。
車両100の車体101には、車室102の床下部分にバッテリ20を収容するバッテリケース103が搭載されている。車両100の前部には、モータルーム104が設けられている。モータルーム104内には、モータ23、駆動装置21、分岐ユニット106、充電装置22等が設けられている。

Claims (9)
- 単一のポンプを用いて、熱媒体を循環させる温調回路と、
前記熱媒体の温度を測定する第1温度センサと、
前記温調回路に熱的に接続されたバッテリと、
前記バッテリの温度を測定する第2温度センサと、
前記温調回路に熱的に接続された発熱機器と、
前記ポンプの下流側の前記温調回路の流路を切り替えて、前記ポンプ、前記バッテリ、前記発熱機器の順に前記熱媒体を循環させる第1温調回路と、前記ポンプ、前記発熱機器、前記バッテリの順に前記熱媒体を循環させる第2温調回路と、を形成する流路切替装置と、
前記第1温度センサ及び前記第2温度センサの測定結果に基づいて、前記流路切替装置を制御し、前記温調回路を、前記第1温調回路または前記第2温調回路に切り替させる制御装置と、を備える、温調装置。 - 前記発熱機器は、前記バッテリより熱容量が小さい、請求項1に記載の温調装置。
- 前記制御装置は、前記第1温度センサの測定結果が第1の閾値以上、且つ、前記第2温度センサの測定結果が前記第1の閾値未満の場合、前記流路切替装置を制御し、前記温調回路を、前記第1温調回路から前記第2温調回路に切り替させる、請求項2に記載の温調装置。
- 前記温調回路に熱的に接続され、前記熱媒体を冷却するラジエータと、
前記ラジエータを開閉する開閉装置と、を備える、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の温調装置。 - 前記制御装置は、さらに、前記第1温度センサ及び前記第2温度センサの測定結果に基づいて、前記開閉装置を制御し、前記ラジエータを開閉させる、請求項4に記載の温調装置。
- 前記制御装置は、前記第1温度センサの測定結果が第2の閾値以上、または、前記第2温度センサの測定結果が前記第2の閾値以上の場合、前記開閉装置を制御し、前記ラジエータを、閉状態から開状態に切り替させる、請求項5に記載の温調装置。
- 前記発熱機器には、モータを駆動させる駆動装置が含まれる、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載の温調装置。
